What are tips for carcharodontosaurus? Tips and strategies for carcharodontosaurus in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
Use 4 METAL gates and 2 LARGE bear traps cryo baby dino( REX,SPINO,BRONTOSAURUS) and murder the baby and offer it up to the carcha and get on it and ride, kill and repeat
It just came out like a day or 2 ago from what I understand. You grab a dead body or a few and get in his face and he will eat it. It will fill he’s friend bar and then you ride it and kill everything and fill it’s tameing bar!
I think it’s a cool way but it’s dangerous so good luck!
So if u are looking to find one of these guys in ragnarock I always find them on the beach at the highlands BUT BEWARE THEY SPAWN WITH BIG BOI GIGAS!
You can actually tame him without traps or anything all you have to do is sneak up with your food of choice (1 baby rex, 1 baby spino, or 3 baby theriz) and feed him it. It works better with two people and i suggest letting him have a distraction to destroy such as a big gate.
And then for the second part just bring rare flowers and its just that easy!
Take a army of baby rex to him and he is your
Baby spinos fill bar fully also, just go in a lake and kill all of the fish… and boom you have tamed a child eater.
Do you guys think it would have bleed damage
To instantly fill the trust meter, feed it a baby T-Rex.
Same it’s gigantic and awesome looking
If you get cryo sickness because like me you forgot to turn it off, then just use stem berries or stimulant to wake any creature up
I found a 150 while flying around in a pteranodon. I ran out of stam
In a desperate attempt to save my ptera, I whistled follow and suicided. Then, I used my Argy to lead my pt away.
The problem: now there is a 150 carcha that walked down onto the western approach.
The big peoplem: my base is on the west approach.
The huge problem: I had passive rexes there
Relieving fact: they are baby rexes destined for being carch food
The gigantic titanosaur-stomp sized problem for the other creatures:
A tamed 224 carch named cupcake killing everything
Make trap with 4-5 metall gates and a behemoth gate. Trap him inside . (Gate closed of course)Make the Same trap on the other side of the gate . Feed him with some Baby rex -spino -Wyvern. If he is in friendship Mode throw a Kryo with Bronto - gigas or other Fully grown Tames you can spare. When the are in Kryosleep on the other Side of the Gate .Release the tamed Dinos. Ride the Carcho open the gate eat sleeping Dino. Close the gate and get of him and throw another kryod Dino on the empty Side. Repeat untill you get 100% . That way you can get 100% taming efficency
Do NOT trap this dino. It will usually (not always but usually) aggro to the trap and when it stops it will nerf out and won't eat. It will sniff but not eat.
Get a very durable wyvern with lots of health, set it to follow you, let it munch on the wyv, throw out a baby rex, kill it and drag to carchar. Once carchar sniffs and eats you should be able to ride instantly. Repeat till tamed
These spawn on top of the Island volcano
Swamps are good for taming these after getting the trust meter
Best you can do is drag a baby rex or spino to it, have a cryo'd flier so you can run away when it kicks you off, and repeat the process until it's tamed.
Also make sure it isn't raged (glowing eyes) while you're dragging the corpse to it.
The Absolute Best Method my tribe has found with taming these guys is to use a standard metal Dino gate trap for a giga, once trapped things get simpler.
The next step is to use baby Rexs, chuck one out near by but not to close, kill it then drag it close to the trap and when you see him sniff the air drop the body and move away to avoid taking damage.
One Rex baby is enough to fill his trust and you will be able to ride him, so you can demo a gate and use an elixir before you mount if you have them handy for that sweet bonus 30% taming.
So now the fun part, mount up and eat everything you see BUT you need to avoid Alpha Dino’s as you will not be able to kill them they take no damage from the Char as it’s still technically wild, be mindful to try avoid taking damage where possible as it will chip away at your taming effectiveness and on standard rates you will need to repeat the feeding of baby rexs a number of times through out the taming as it will kick you off and can try to kill you.
taming can be quite slow depending on how many wild Dino’s you can find in each run and you may need to repeat the process 4-5 times depending on level and current rates.
