On the center:

Spawn at top right volcano sometimes in center (or gigas, their spawns are interchangeable)

*Can also spawn top left snow biome (usually left side under cliff area near cave or bottom (left) ish area)

*Can also spawn right side of bottom snow (only if the others are blocked usually)

*Doesn’t need, nor should use a trap, get an argy and pick and kill babies, kill then a decent amount out of vision range of the carch then bring it to the carch (drag body), it’ll sniff then eat.

*(wild or tamed rex, paracer, and cerato babies insta 100% worthiness)

(All besides spawns are the same, the island they usually spawn on the volcano, near metal mountain, or on one of the snow mountains (usually blue ob)

After spending hours trying to figure out how to tame this brute of a beast, my wife and I found a way that worked like an absolute charm.

First, get a team of at least two people. One person must be wearing ghille armor and get into the charcis area. Be sure to fly in or have at least one decent Argentavis with you.

Second, start a kill pile of animals that can be dragged such as Carnos, trikes, and parasaurs. The bigger the better.

Third, have the player in ghille armor approach the charchi with a kill in hand to activate the handshake. DO NOT use a metal cage or traps as this will cause the charci to bug. Once the charchi begins ro sniff, drop the kill and run away. Repeat this step until the handshake stage is complete and turns green.

The final step requires teamwork. One person must ride the charchi to begin killing animals to start the taming process. The other person must use an argentavis to fly ahead of the charchi and begin wounding large animals such as diplos, brontos, and allosauruses. This way, the charchi can get large kills with almost no effort or damage (which negatively effects the taming efficiency) while preserving as much stamina as possible. Having your teamate fly ahead also allows the player on the charchi to more easily locate prey.

We're on the our second charchi now and this has worked wonderfully. Happy taming!!

They are very strong and hard to tame, not to mention that they are very rare. So good luck finding them.

Trap with 4 metal gates and a large bear trap. Leave render distance so it stops attacking, then killed a rex (rexes get instant friendship) then drag it to the trapped dino. If it doesn’t eat leave render distance and come back

That silly glow that surrounds you after being chomped by these needs to be removed, cant see jack all past it.

Ok so, in order to tame a car, you need 4 Dino gateways, a large bear trap, and a cryopod with baby wyverns in it ( if you don’t have any baby wyverns, a dead wild animal will work too! Just not as well), and a good saddle for when you tame it. You lead it into your trap, and once you have trapped it, kill your Dino of choice ( I recommend baby wyverns very effective!). Once that is done, you should be able to ride it. Just remember it is not tamed yet! Get it out of the trap and kill those baby wyverns. Make sure you get thrown off BEFORE the time runs out. By then, the tame is ruined and you can’t tame it. A good leveled high level car can kill a giga. I will be sure to post a good name on name ideas tab!

Carchars give more xp than gigas by 3.75x

The carchar is better than the giga in many ways like it has a tighter turning radius and better stamina to, though the way the points are is like a giga by only adding a small amount to each stat.

Use a baby T-Rex (Cryo pod the rex over) to instantly get it's trust up. However if you are on PC get the baby Rex out of the Cryo pod and wait 10 seconds because if you kill it as soon as it is out there's a chance the rex will disappear.

You don’t need to trap it….breed some rexes get egg hatch egg put baby in cryo pod take baby to carcharo kill baby drag baby keep ahold of it let charo bit it fills meter in 1 shot…hop on carcharo ride and kill till timer almost done then ride it to a trap put it in trap kill everything around it so it doesn’t lose taking effectiveness..kill another baby rex open door let charo out grab dead baby bring to carcharo rinse and repeat…also back up while chopping Dino’s that fight back to keep taming bar at 100%

To tame get one in a trap, a typical giga trap will work but have extras, and instead of using rhino or killing other dinos bring along some baby Yuti, kill 1 and drag to it, if it eats its an instant ride, dont use giga or rex they worthless use baby yuti, once able to ride tear down one dino gate, run and kill everything, now if timer runs out before tame run it back to cage amd replace gate then use another yuti, rinse and repeat till tamed, you are welcome.

Use a baby dino corpse boss rex baby’s are an instant trust bar and usually only takes one to two rexes to tame. You may need more on a 1x

Beartrap and dinogates on a low level.

Feed it a few Ovis.

Charge into Alpha Tribes best base.
