Carchars give more xp than gigas by 3.75x

The carchar is better than the giga in many ways like it has a tighter turning radius and better stamina to, though the way the points are is like a giga by only adding a small amount to each stat.

Use a baby T-Rex (Cryo pod the rex over) to instantly get it's trust up. However if you are on PC get the baby Rex out of the Cryo pod and wait 10 seconds because if you kill it as soon as it is out there's a chance the rex will disappear.

You don’t need to trap it….breed some rexes get egg hatch egg put baby in cryo pod take baby to carcharo kill baby drag baby keep ahold of it let charo bit it fills meter in 1 shot…hop on carcharo ride and kill till timer almost done then ride it to a trap put it in trap kill everything around it so it doesn’t lose taking effectiveness..kill another baby rex open door let charo out grab dead baby bring to carcharo rinse and repeat…also back up while chopping Dino’s that fight back to keep taming bar at 100%

To tame get one in a trap, a typical giga trap will work but have extras, and instead of using rhino or killing other dinos bring along some baby Yuti, kill 1 and drag to it, if it eats its an instant ride, dont use giga or rex they worthless use baby yuti, once able to ride tear down one dino gate, run and kill everything, now if timer runs out before tame run it back to cage amd replace gate then use another yuti, rinse and repeat till tamed, you are welcome.

Use a baby dino corpse boss rex baby’s are an instant trust bar and usually only takes one to two rexes to tame. You may need more on a 1x

Beartrap and dinogates on a low level.

Feed it a few Ovis.

Charge into Alpha Tribes best base.

Breed your boss rex. Even the ones I bred with my level one females give me a full friendship bar with one feeding on 1x. Basically, I only use 4 baby rex and one elixir to tame a 150 with 100% effectiveness. If you eat animals and get 20% taming before each timer runs out you will be thrown from Carcharodontasaurus on not lose effectiveness. If you have on Tex suit you can run away from Agro range and kill next baby rex before it gets close. Just pick up fresh kill and repeat with a full friendship bar with each baby rex you kill. I’ve tamed more than 15 this way and now have a nice line of imprinted Carchars. Please try this method.

Baby Rex’s fills it in one shot…hop on it and start killing…back up as you attack every hit from a Dino takes its effectiveness down…you don’t need to trap it…I still can’t figure out why people are trapping it…the desmodus potion works on it as well they last 4 hours so make one before you start hunting for a car….for some reason it kicks at random times so around 200 ish seconds try to keep the Dino in an area that has no other Dino’s if he attacks stuff while your not on him he will lose effectiveness if there is a trap close buy that’s unlocked try to get kicked off inside the trap then repeat it not time sensitive so just get to a safe place…if you have traps on a pve server unlock it so everyone can use it and they don’t have to make their own creating and endless maze of traps in every damn area it spawns lol

Before going to tame it, tame or breed some ovis.

Trap it, kill ovis and feed it. Have some spare ovis unclaimed to eat after

These do unresisted damage to angry rocks (golems).

So if youre on scorched or generally surrounded by angry rocks: Enjoy the fun :)

Metal dino gateways 4 in a square trap works

Taming in easy no need to trap it just walk up and feed it then run away to another dead body and drag it back to it repeat until it's ready to be tamed. Now as for killing dinos with it looks like it's 5% for ever kill. Also taking damage will reduse taming efficiency. Now ones it's tamed ever point should go into melee. U can take on a wild lvl145 giga if u have almost a 100 boost and u will heal almost as fast as ur taking damage. Best dino ever. Most likely will get nerfed sadly but we will see

Best dinos to feed them are baby Rex’s , spinos and magmasaurs they take one feed to be friends where as everything else’s I had to feed about 5 corpses or maybe more apparently it’s something to do with drag weight so might be other creatures that are as good. Also trapping seems to bug them out for me not sure everyone else’s experience but I let mine roam free. I’m not sure if it’s a bug but I seem to get kicked off the back of them anywhere between the last 60 - 200 seconds of the friendship buff and I still don’t know why yet it never gets to run all the way to 0

Trap it, bring e.g. Rex babies in Cryo Pods, kill them, feed them, tame your Carcharo :)

Use baby rex X lvl 412, with only 1 he es ready to ride, and begins the taming, try to kill small dinos, beacause big dinos gives him more stacks, and with 100 stacks he enters in rage and tries to kill you

If you find a carc with the red friendship icon, someone has tried to tame it. Knock it out to reset. Also don't be that kid who kills them just because you can’t tame it.
