Before going to tame it, tame or breed some ovis.
Trap it, kill ovis and feed it. Have some spare ovis unclaimed to eat after
Metal dino gateways 4 in a square trap works
Taming in easy no need to trap it just walk up and feed it then run away to another dead body and drag it back to it repeat until it's ready to be tamed. Now as for killing dinos with it looks like it's 5% for ever kill. Also taking damage will reduse taming efficiency. Now ones it's tamed ever point should go into melee. U can take on a wild lvl145 giga if u have almost a 100 boost and u will heal almost as fast as ur taking damage. Best dino ever. Most likely will get nerfed sadly but we will see
Best dinos to feed them are baby Rex’s , spinos and magmasaurs they take one feed to be friends where as everything else’s I had to feed about 5 corpses or maybe more apparently it’s something to do with drag weight so might be other creatures that are as good. Also trapping seems to bug them out for me not sure everyone else’s experience but I let mine roam free. I’m not sure if it’s a bug but I seem to get kicked off the back of them anywhere between the last 60 - 200 seconds of the friendship buff and I still don’t know why yet it never gets to run all the way to 0
Trap it, bring e.g. Rex babies in Cryo Pods, kill them, feed them, tame your Carcharo :)
Use baby rex X lvl 412, with only 1 he es ready to ride, and begins the taming, try to kill small dinos, beacause big dinos gives him more stacks, and with 100 stacks he enters in rage and tries to kill you
If you find a carc with the red friendship icon, someone has tried to tame it. Knock it out to reset. Also don't be that kid who kills them just because you can’t tame it.
Yutyrannus are its favorite food it only takes one yutyrannus to able to get on him after that go crazy kill everything around you also best location for me to find Carcharodontosaurus is on Extinction next to the snow Biome good lock y’all and Bering some giga killers
Best way to tame
1. Get some high lvl babies... health over 4k (the higher the level the more babies you will need so I take no less tab 5)
2. Find the freak
3. Make sure the area is clear of danger, throw the baby out and kill it
4. Drag baby over to the freak and wait for it to sniff and blood to come out its mouth, at this point it should approach and then eat the baby.
5. A green tame emblem will appear above it, run up to it and ride it.
6. Kill things to gain tame percentage
7. There is a lvl meter on the bottom left, once this hits 100 it will frenzy and you have to do steps 3-5 again. Freak will also frenzy if this lvl meter drops down or hits a certain lvl depending on the bigger the freaks lvl it is.
8. While killing try to take little to no damage from other dinos as this will hurt the tame lvls
I used 1 boss x-Rex baby to kill and feed it and I got the green friendship icon immediately
To tame it, first use a giga trap with at least 4 metal gates and a giant bear trap, then give it some carcasses, (From what I’ve seen it seem Rhinos are good) wait until it’s friendship bar is full, after this you will be prompted to ride it, you will have several minutes to go around killing creatures. When it’s taming bar reaches 100% it will be tamed. NOTE: do not fight anything powerful with it while taming as damage reduces taming effectiveness, Sanguine Elixir is useful in this taming process.
Use babies, we used a baby Rex in our hands on a 140 carcar during the extra life event and it got the taming to ride it to green instantly.
Guys this is the coolest creature in the whole game if you want to try it out the command is SDF Carch 1 150 0
The car is in the game I play on official rag and saw a car
They spawn on every map the giga does and you can look on YouTube for how to tame. I recomend taming them where alot of creatures are like swamp or volcano but you might just want to tame at volcano because I dont think it would be smart for taking to the swamp because they dont spawn there and there's already a lot of creatures at the volcano.
Drag dead dinos to them until friendship bar is full. Then ride for 10 minutes and kill creatures to tame. Damage will effect its taking effectiveness
Easiest way to Tame this guy is to first build a trap. I used just 4 behemoth gates (metal) with doors on each side. I left some room I could easily fit in and out of. Bring your own tames to feed this guy, I used 2 decent lv shadowmanes. Once they're dead drag them into the trap in the opposite direction it is facing, once it does its sniff animation drop it and leave so it can eat. As soon as the bar that appears is green you can run up and ride him. Open your trap, you have 10 minutes to kill everything in the area and get him tamed!!
How to tame: So you want to tame one of these beasts. Well, it's fairly simple! First, you want to trap the carcharodontosaurus using the same trap you would use for a giga. Once it's trapped, you want to drag dead creatures to it (the bigger the better) and it will eat them. Drag as many as you need until you see a green symbol above it, indicating you can ride it. Once you have mounted your carchar, run around killing everything (again, the bigger the better) until it's taming effectiveness is at 100%. At this point, it will throw you off, and you now have a rival to the mighty Giganotosaurus!
Here's an actual carcha tip: trap it, bring it corpses of the dinos YOU killed, it'll sniff them and eat them. A trust meter will appear above it. Once full - break the trap, ride it and kill things. Big and strong ones, preferably. That'll fill up the actual taming meter, once THAT'S full - enjoy you giant now-tamed murderlizard (also, have a sino or a parachute with you. When I tested in singlepayer, upon finishing the tame I was thrown quite high up off the carcha's back)
To tame make a beh trap!! Not sure if stone works but metal def does!! Kill Dino’s the bigger the better and drag to it to feed.
Enjoy your new tame!!!
