Pump up there health a LOT then u can use them to tame tuso’s, since they’ll have a lot of health the tuso hopefully won’t kill them while ur tameing them

Please build 2 tall walls and also make them have no nearby structures here is how freedom: my female turtle got her name: after her 1st baby, who still has no name, she escaped my dino compound and crossed the river to where the raptors were. I got her back with no issues until about 1 minute later she had broken out.

A must tame... 3 or 4 of these can distract a pack of allo or a rex so you can kill them from behind using weapons, and you can tame them with just 30 stones, a slingshot, 30 mejoberries and a good aim, a must tame for beginners...

These guys don’t even need to be tamed to be useful.

If you jump on their back you can avoid attacks from most short creatures, and if you get on near the middle of their shell you can ride them while they’re underwater

Why make a saddle using cemente paste when you can just jump on you carbonemys and whistle to it where it must go?

When fighting using them in groups and as tanks is the most effective strategy.

Good early mount and pre trike soaker

Early game when I restar I always put together a defense squad and it’s three high level dilos and two turtles. All female just for extra food (eggs) anytime. Don’t worry about the turtles attack just the hp because the dilos are mostly there to attack from behind and do the bulk of the damage. Whatever is attacking will go for the turtles unless the dilos get there and then the turtles will snap at it and then it’ll aggravate on the turtles and they attack fast enough that whatever it is doesn’t have time to switch between all attackers. And to add I’ll casually take a stab from the side with a spear from time to time while shooting whatever it is in the head with a bow. Hope this helps. Also on pvp servers these squads wreck people on allos lol.

We have one turtle named carby hero the reason of the is... one night I was playing ark then a noob on a raft came over attacked my dodo,dilo,pterodactyl,and turtle. I heard all my Dino’s attacking I ran back got on a bird picked him up dropped him in a cage then he got reaped into peace’s my my Dilos XD

Always try and get a 150 with regular kibble with high or very high healh

A level 130 wild turtle killed me my tribe mate we were both around level 35 and were attacking with cross bows and a level 40+ trike the trike also died we even died both backed up angaist a wall so i tamed a level 20 one now level 49 and its songood even without a saddle it helped me kill a guy who was maybe raiding me and is just great these things cant be killed my friend lvl 70 carno died to 3 or 4 lvl 30 roughly ones its great mid and late game and also a bit early game just an all rounder no reason to not have one fast tame even on 1x tame with mejos its 45 mins and u cant log off for like half of that lol so yea there just to good bye

You don’t need a saddle to ride if you have another person: hop on it’s shell and tell the other person to make it follow him/her. If he has a Dino to ride it will follow him and you will stay on. You can also fit two people on it with or without a saddle. If you are the second person just hop on shell

They need a tlc and quite possibly a redesign they could be anchored to a place where they can always find the way to like real turtles (that has no use but it’s cool ) also they were omnivorous with a big jaw and strong bite existing with the titanoboa and ate small reptiles therefore I propose we should be able to put them on turret mode where they eat nearby small stuff like micro raptor and compy in one bite if they get to close

Good source of keratin for beginners and a slow but durable starter tame. They are also useful for Tusoteuthis taming as a bait so you can feed the beak and don’t have an oxygen stat.

All I have to say about this giant turtle boy is that he is good to use to tame a tuso. First you let the tuso grab the turtle then second swim up to the big squid boy and feed him those black pearls. Easy as that ( Just make sure the turtle has a lot of health).
