Level health and get tuso to grab it, good for tuso taming.

Set one on passive in your taming cage they make excellent bait.

They're pretty tough for an early game tame but even a low lvl will suffice since they are very expendable and still won't get instakilled like a dodo or lystro would.

Devs: let’s make a turtle, Ark doesn’t have one so why not?

Survivors: you are Super Soaker

If your in an online server and find on of these with a friend and they have to got afk make them jump on the back then hit it and the turtle will make them move with you

Great early tame to keep around waters you’ll have to cross often - just level health and melee and park it in the water (as they can’t drown) in neutral and they’ll draw in and kill any piranhas that spawn nearby. Presumably possible to do in the oceans with Megalodons as well since they’re drawn to tamed creatures.

U can drop them In high PvP bases with a quetz to drain😊

Whoever said its a fridge on legs is wrong, these guys don't slow the spoil time any more than your average tame. I tried to refrigerate mutton and it didn't work, now I have to find another ovis to tame my spino.

If you need to cross a river hitch a ride on one of these guys backs.

If you are too lazy to get a saddle for one (i know im too lazy to get one) you can just hop on its back to score a free ride 👍

you can use these guys to soak bases which is very nice

YOU CAN USE A PACK OF 5 CARBOENEMY TO ESCORT YOUR DINOS AND THE PACK MULES ALONG TYE COAST AND IT WILL GET RID OF PIRANHA MEGLADON AND SARCO.SO THEY CAN BE SAFE ON THE WATER.

The only utility I see to this things is to get keratin when you are starting at the game

I have a question rather than a tip. If you imprint and level them in health, could they be utilized to aggro the Dragon whilst you're other tames feast on him?

If you find a low level and you have a stone axe and a bow with some arrows, you can kill them for early game hide and keratin! It's very good for when you need to get a lot of hide early game, and you can't just kill everything in sight for it. Same with the keratin, you can't just kill a bunch of stegos for it and harvest it with a wolf or something. They are very good for early game hide grinding for parasaur saddles, stego, trike or raptor saddles, and more. -ThornTheRex

If you jump right next to it, you can actually ride wild them in the wild!

It has good weight so I recommend this as a starter tame so if you have a lot of stuff find i good level I recommend level 10-30 and they do a good amount of damage for a starter

I tamed a male and female because they're an easy source of keratin which is needed for a lot of saddles and many other things. They do make good defenders but once you tame a triceratops I would recommend just killing your carbonemys for the keratin. They also give a lot of hide, but that's not really why I would tame them

Fun fact:

You can jump on their back even without a saddle and whistle them around any body of water you need to cross without leeds attacking you.

They’re basically the disciples of oogway, and are great for protection while taming. But literally they’re just mini oogways!
