Carbonemys are easy early-game tames that provide sturdy protection against smaller threats and can serve as durable bait while escaping or taming more dangerous creatures. Their high health, carrying capacity, and ability to swim indefinitely make them useful for hauling supplies, crossing waterways, guarding bases, and safely navigating coastal areas.

Die Viecher laufen immer ins Wasser und lassen sich von Megalodons oder Quallen fressen, wenn man sie umherwandern lässt. Also baut ein sicheres Gehege ohne Ozeanzugang.
