These things aren’t very fast so you don’t really need a animal or get a high place just bring tranq arrows and back up while shooting it just check your surroundings

I have a carbonsmys he is a god! Not that hard to tAme lol. All u need is: 1: carbonemys 2: a lot of food 3:hit it a lot of times 4: DO NOT SWIM THEy are giant turtles turtles swim fast! 5: go somewhere high or just one 1v1 it lol 6: when knocked out I’d say it doesn’t just eat The purple berries it eats other ones 7: BOOM u got a carbonemys. If you really want one I’d say this is a great help! I had a dodo named giga and that was the time I had a Carbonemys and then a Dilophosaurus killed it And I’m sad that the dodo One up for the RIP ): do it please

Carbonemys Taming Tips:

Find a high level one. Make sure you have the slingshot engram before you attempt taming. If you try taming with just a club, you will probably die. But once you have your turtle boi, slingshot it in the head while walking backwards. If you slingshot it anywhere but the head you will waste a lot of stone because of their reduced body damage. Once the turtle turns to run, it has a high amount of torpor so if you want to club it then, feel free. These guys like berries, mejoberries work the best but if it's early game and you don't have too many mejos to waste, any other berry works fine. They don't take too long to tame with any berries other than mejo but if you feel like it won't tame just force feed it narcoberries if you are worried.

You can literally knock it out with a STONE hatchet who else thinks that suspicious

Weirdly you can knock them out wit a pick or metal pick and hatchet and metal hatchet.

Use a hatchet to knock out and then use any type of berry to tame. Watch your health, they can hit strong.

Give it a guuuuuuuuuuuuuuu with a bat

This ark turtle lol has high health stats so this make it a good pet to have for like medium carnivores

Step 1.So basically you would have to build a house trap to make it get stuck. Step 2. Shoot arrows at the head. Step 3. If you knocked it out Step 4. Feed mejoberrys. (To collect mejoberrys easier I recommend a parasaur can do that)

High levels who upgraded a LOT on melee:

Run up to the carbonenemys and punch it into unconsciousness. Feed it around a hundred berries, and really no narcotics are needed (yes, you heard me right, 100 berries. Or that’s what I used).

Low levels:

Stay a little ways away from the carbonenemys. Shoot it with tranq arrows, in the head (I believe I used 4-5).

Uses: They’re nice tames and have a lot of health. It is rather harder to craft their saddle, than say, the parasaur, but it can still be thought of as easy. They can carry a lot. They are extremely slow rides, and are faster in water. Also: watch out for piranhas! They will come up behind the carbonenemys and try to kill it. You won’t be able to attack as your carbonenemys will be too slow to turn around that fast.

Why is the saddle so hard to make at lvl 10 😑

These things can be useful once tamed, they are a particularly easy beginners tame. If you are very low level use a bat and hit it in the face and outrun it if your health gets to low. If you have unlocked tranq arrows shoot it while outrunning and once unconscious feed mejo berrys, you shouldn’t need narcotics bring narcoberrys just in case.

A easy way to tame them is to damage them first hope this helps

I hope this helps tho so it tame one you have to punch it but you have to get a few level ups and up grade your health then you spin around it and punch it then you feed it a couple of berries then BAM you got yourself a very very very very strong and very fast in water turtle

This creature is like a turtle tank! You can easily tame them as soon as you unlock the sling shot (do not punch them) you can run ahead of them, shoot and keep running ahead and shooting because they are slow. (Aim for the head + feet) You unlock the saddle at lvl 10. When taming give them mejoberries (the purple berrys) they work the best when taming them! (Just go berry gathering like crazy) Btw their baby’s are so cute!
