Stegos + these guys = perfect to use to drain turrets.

Carbons has a good life it can easily kill a raptor or sarco but speed is very slow dont use it for travel

Easy tame and low level saddle, as well as being okay resource gatherers.

These dudes have so much health I knocked one out with a metal pick and it still had 300 health left when it was down

If your thinking of taking one I recommend it I tamed one early in the game and it helped a lot They Carry lots of weight and will protect you really good

I knocked mine out with a metal hatchet 😃

shoot stones at it with a slingshot (make sure you pull it all the way back cuz it’ll go unconscious faster that way) while walking backwards. if it gets too close and nibbles you just turn 180° and run a little then turn back and continue shooting stones at it. if you’re successful it will be knocked out. shove mejoberries (or rockarrots if you want it to be tamed up faster) inside its throat and wait until it’s tamed. you now have a carbonemys

Tip: Carbonemys Sound Like Brontos So Dont Cofuse A Turtle With A Bronto An They May Be Kinda Slow On Water But They Recive Less Damage And Torpor From The Tusoteuthis

Advice from an absolutely fresh noob to other noobs: don't take its eggs if the mother is nearby. It's slow so you'll stay alive if you keep running but it just won't let go. I had to run around crafting 20 spears to kill it, just to stay alive (yeah, I know I should have used a slingshot I'm a noob okay?)

Soooo…I tamed one of these and kinda scared doing it because I am scared of them.I was like level 30 and I am still scared of it at level 47.But anyway, I tamed it to try and tame another itchy(my first one died to a cindera) so when I saw I needed 10 cementing paste I did’t give up.So when I finally made the saddle and started riding it in the water and a bunch of Megs mobbed me and I realized that I had wasted 40 bits keratin on nothing I was soooooooo upset.One day a raptor spawned in my base and I was to scared to kill the raptor I expected it to kill the raptor.But you know what it did? It just randomly swam towards my raft and did nothing!Don’t tame them!

Only for low levels just walk backwards and keep shooting his head with a fricking slingshot no more waste of time on getting into lv 20 only if you are in easy mode

Just tamed a 145 and I needed about 30 tranq arrows. 2 times the amount it said ALWAYS Bring extras!!! (I brought 26 arrows and I ran out of arrows and had to resort to club for the last hits before KO)

I recommend having a carbonemys for people who want to kill a sarcos, you’ll thank me for this.

If you want to kill a Carbonemys, just get 2-4 dilos, 3 or more is reccomended because if you get 2 the carbonemys would kill one of the dilos.

U can use it to siege a trike without using a saddle just by hopping on top and using the target button

I like using this guys for taming the Tuso

Also if you want to buff it just breed them to get a imprinted one

If u want prime meat tame these turtles because they can kill sacro’s very easily
