Once messed with the settings and put my turtle's speed to over 3000%...... Tapped it forward for a split second, it took off at Mach40 and bounced off a rock. We flew almost all the way across the Island map. And that's how my turtle learned to fly.

When I played ark I tamed lots of these guys they can take on raptors and a trex and a trike

When I first started playing ark a few years ago I saw an egg. I was in an area with lots of turtles and I only had a few things like cloth armor and had never seen an egg before so I went to pick it up. Let's just say it didn't end well.

Me: wow an egg! Carbonemys egg? I want to have it. (takes the egg)

Carbonemys: noooo a oviraptor with long legs and long arms everyone attack

When you don't have a fellow tribe member this is your companion of choise. Since incase of sudden Giga or Alpha....you can bola it and run... and check for it the next day if he still takes his beating. Brave little guy...

Every time I see one of these guys poking their backs and heads out of the water, I think its a fricking sarco.

Irl these guys ate crocodiles.

Anyone concerned by the fact that these turtles can kill a trike.

Me and my friends were going to fight the broodmother, and I insisted that we brought "God Turtle" our Carbonemys which we had used for taming carnos and rexes do too its extreme health/defense, he was definitely the MVP in the fight and was sadly killed. So when we got back I built a shrine to him. To put it simply, never underestimate these tanky turtles.

Why did the carbonemys start working out?
