I just tamed one of these on a separate device and this one I tamed both yesterday and I think they took about 40-70 Barrys and they will probably be really good protection. My username is ralandarl if you want to know

Set one on passive in your taming cage they make excellent bait.

They're pretty tough for an early game tame but even a low lvl will suffice since they are very expendable and still won't get instakilled like a dodo or lystro would.

So i was taming one for someone else, i did not know i had my compy. I also did not know it was mate boosted, the turtle. When the other turtle attacked, my shoulder compy went in. It died RIP Lizard PRAYFORLIZARD

The carbonemys is slow on land and faster in water

Finding a turtle is easy because they are almost everywhere besides the snow in survival evolved. So like the forests, redwoods, and mountains sometimes because they spawn by a open area.

If you are a low level, and u hit one with others near by, you can easily run, but be warned-when you are level seventy three, you will see a whole army of 1,000 from that one time you hit that one turtle. You can run, but u cannot hide. You could go to Neptune, but they will find you. The only way is to kill or tame them all, or they will never stop chasing you

When in need of large amounts of keratin most tribes will hunt turtles. Just remember to aim for weak points such as the legs and exposed neck to maximize damage.

Beware the saddle needs cement.

Can be knocked out by a chainsaw if u target the shell.

Well, these creatures are very hard when you’re weak so go to your settings before you start your game well, just go to single player and then you know go down if you see your player put it to 00 then play the game and then try to you, got lots of strength then you can hit the turtle head then you have to give it a couple of berries and boom you got your very own legacy turtle

So u could used to knock them out with an axe so I tried to kill a carbo and ended up taming it...

Do NOT fight these if you only have beginner weapons! They actually can kill you if you don’t know what you’re doing (learned from experience)

If you want to tame it get a club and hit it an run around it if you want to escape just there slow as hell BUT do not go in the water they will **** you up

If your in an online server and find on of these with a friend and they have to got afk make them jump on the back then hit it and the turtle will make them move with you

Great early tame to keep around waters you’ll have to cross often - just level health and melee and park it in the water (as they can’t drown) in neutral and they’ll draw in and kill any piranhas that spawn nearby. Presumably possible to do in the oceans with Megalodons as well since they’re drawn to tamed creatures.

Fun fact: you can knock out these dudes using stone hatchet on mobile

Whoever said its a fridge on legs is wrong, these guys don't slow the spoil time any more than your average tame. I tried to refrigerate mutton and it didn't work, now I have to find another ovis to tame my spino.

U can drop them In high PvP bases with a quetz to drain😊

Easiest and at is to slingshot them I did it and made a army of them. Just remember don't punch or you are going to pay.
