These are so easy to tame because they are so slow. You can easily tame one with tranq arrows and the ascendant bow you get from completing the hunt dilophosaur pursuit(ark mobile/switch).Hit them at the head for easy knockout.

These guys are excellent swimmers, have a lot of health and can be your first water creature

Don't use the simple pistol on these guys if you are they are going to waste your ammo they are just bullet proof well i have not try a rifle but pistol is bad for these guys

I kill these for fun they gave me so much pain in my early game and now that I have rexes I murder them all.

They’re really common and kill them to make paste.

Best way to kill them: get an army of dodo’s, but it’s best if it’s dilo’s, since they dont have a lot of knock back damage, they could easily get overwhelmed. Or you can just have a dino with high damage, usually. Dino’s that deal atleast 50 damage or more with 400 health can take one if these living tanks down without you riding them, so it’s best if u get either an army or a high damage boi

There are slow but super strong, I had 2 tamed ones take down therizinos various times as well as sarcos, I just use them for defense from other creatures that could attack my base :)

I tamed a level 2 (i was level 8) with slingshot and berries, i tamed a dilo while waiting

Tame one of these I saw one kill a sarco 100% sure you should take it and it WILL defend you rlly good.... like is da best for beginners

Believe me if you punch these guys when your started a new game cus you thought he was weak... YOU WILL DIE IF YOU DON'T RUN AWAY!!! Trust me its all experience...

Perfect soakers, takes 50% reduction from bullets to its tail, and 80% reduction from bullets to its shell.

If you ride them, the turrets will still shoot the Carbonemys instead of you, unless they are right above you.

Ad that they got greater healthpool than both Stegos and Trikes, ad the mate boost effect and even the yuty roar effect, ad even saddles to them, and there is only one dinos that beat it when it comes to soaking, and that's a rock elemental aka golem.

And, they are easy to tame, slow, just tranq out and feed mejoberries or kibbles, and you got yourself a soaker capable to take out any base defences.

Use snow owl or deodon to heal them in between.

Is anyone else having trouble finding male ones? I looked at 6 at they were ALL female. I still haven’t found a male.

Easy enough to tame, just walk backwards and shoot tranqs at its face and when it starts to run well it turns like a Boeing 747, so you can easily get around and shoot its head again. Sometimes the torpor build up is enough to KO it without needing to shoot when it starts running
