These things are easy to tame just get about 70 stones to 90 just to be safe and shot them then back up slowly because there slow like turtles .when its knocked out feed it berries lots and lots it takes about half a day mine was knocked out at night and was done after i woke up.

So its easy to tame but.Keep your dinos away during this i learned my leason i attacked it and lured it to my base and i had 5 dilos 1 para and 1 pterodon and the brutally beat him up and i was stunned.

For raiding at low level, not much health like stego but still tanky

Lol they are easy to kill if you use a spear, use about 3-4 spears and since they can hit longer distance.

You guys need this because these guys are good for swimming iland they have a lot of weight so you can put all of your stuff on there and it will not be a problem and these guys and good for attacking stuff that try to kill you I hope this helped.

While I was gone from my base a spino killed everything but I had two of them and killed the spino

I like to team up with other ones to invite you if you're going to take one down so I suggest boxing them in like a hut

Amazing for berrys I needed narcoberrys and I got over 100 a must have for any body looking for a “fast” way to earn berry’s

If you're going to tame the supposed refrigerating ability don't waste your time if you're on PS4 does not do it spent hours looking for a high level one to tame. Just to find out that items full in their inventory at the same rate is any other Dino.

If you try to kill it generally their slow so you just need a shit ton of arrows and just let it walk towards you

Here’s what I did in leveling up quickly.

1. Spawn in south zone 2.

2. Run to the east and you’ll find a swamp.

3. Lure sarcos and boas out of the swamp (make sure you don’t lure any kappas and don’t get bitten by the boas ok?)

4. Find a giant group of wild turtles and trikes.

5. Let them battle it out and kill one of the swamp creatures when it is low on health.

1 of these and a carno saved my small wood base early game, well worth early game tame.

Basically for all the new players: bolas don't work on these big turtles so if you just started use a slingshot and hit it in the head while running backwards and eventually you'll knock it out. Then use mejoberries which you can get from bushes to tame it

These guys are the best at getting karitan if you dont want to look for one to kill just simply tame 2 of these guys the opposite gender and for the one you dont need to breed with simply kill it like the ovis for getting mutton. But this is for keritian. Sorry for bad English.

If you can get 10 or more of the bad boys you will be protect from raptors dilos and even theris

Make your dinos (decently high leveled) kill them or just kill them and harvest keratin. Easiest way to get Kertain/chitin if you're a beginner. They're slow so you can out walk them whe shooting them in the head with stone arrows.

Extremely useful if you have a high level one with levels put into health with a high level saddle, because you can use these paired with sweet veggie cake to tame a tusoteuthis.

My best way to knock it out is to go on the back and shoot it from there then when it spins you move the cross hair a little off the head of the direction it is spinning then keep doing that in till knock out K.O

To tame it it is a herbivore so get a lot of berries or anything else it likes I do berries cause I’m lazy lol so then but when it is eating try to get 10 cement paste for the saddle it’s the hardest part unless u have a good way of raiding a beaver dam

Good semi-aquatic mount for getting across rivers

This turtle is easy to tame but it is also a great swimmer so if u try to outrun it do not try to outrun it in the water. It’s a turtle for god sake!!!

1) get on the turtles back or get behind it

2) hit it with tranq arrows or a sling shot or a wooden club

3) if it get close get farther from it/ I recommend getting on a big rock and shooting it

4) after you knocked it out feed it some berries mojo berries are the best ones to feed them

5) and tah dah u have a new friend
