If you want to fight one I recommend either going around it in circles and stabbing it with a spear or a pile or running backwards and shooting it with your bow or gun

You take a hatchet and try to kill it and surprisingly you knock it out.

When my invventory gets too heavy, I use my turtle as my legs.

I used this to tame a baryonyx by shooting tranq arrows at it while on my turtle, it has some decent hp and if you level it up you could even use it to try and tame bigger things. I tried doing the same method on a spino and it worked (unfortunately it went unconscious under water and drowned)

Bump if you think WC should make this immune to shock & able to collect lots bio toxin plus weight reduction on materials like stone, flint & wood!

I like to get a bunch of these when I face off against a toro or something, they make great weapons! When you tame one do not swim away, they are giant turtles so basically you have entered their domain. I usually just use a club and hit repeatedly but that may vary on our health, you may have lower health than me so uhm yeah… Hope this was helpful!

If you kill a carby, you should plan on raiding a base while you are at it ‘cause when you drag it’s body, it covers you like a turtle blankie, so you can soak all but tek turrets, because they have explosive damage. You won’t take any damage because you are stuck inside the turtle.

Just imagine riding this with a cannon and a tank turret and get and army and raid a big base: This thing is the living tank of ark

These guys are great in early game. They are an easy tame with a slingshot, have loads of health, and can be used to fight much larger and stronger animals.

These things are extremely slow and lose intrist in you when you attack them unless you continue attacking it or you take it’s egg.

Easy to breed and raise. Take some in caves and let them tank for you and your DPS tames. Bring good guns and good tames aswell. RUGER5264 - 2023

when taming turtles don't hit there shell it won't be as affective. turtles have a lot of defense so you can tame a high level and level up his health and use him to tame a tusoteuthis. turtle can also be use as a early game fridge put food in them and it will last longer

Anyone hate megapirahnna I suggest tame carbonamys it's good against them

The Carbonemys is a very good dino for taming anything (except titanosaur) as it can tank hits with it’s incredibly high hp and 0.5x damage on the shell. I one used a wild Carbonemys to tame a Spino while it tried to kill it I shot tranq darts at it.

ESSENTIAL for metal runs early game due to their weight limit. Bring 2 or more and you have a portable storage box

The slingshot work pretty well. (P.s dilophosaurus are a big help.)

Don’t try to run this thing is slow as a fish on land
