Whatever you do do not steal a wild turtle egg they will kill you but for some reason when I do it I just get really far away and they don’t come after me because I never see them again maybe they got killed or eaten

Aim for the head if you are using a regular spear, anywhere else is almost guaranteed to break your spear. Try and sprint backwards while stabbing to minimize the damage it does to you.

On the island if you go up the hill you can usually find these guys and they’re easy to tranq (if your a beginner then even slingshots work) they’re really slow on land and so that’s why I’d prefer to find them up on the mountain, just make sure to bring rocks with you

When breeding tamed Carbonemys, they will try to wander off in opposite directions. I tried positioning them next to each other and overloading them past their weight limit to keep them still, but they refused to mate. You literally have to box them in to the point that they can't move.

Just get an army of these and they will protect all your dinos

To knock it out, you first need to get a sling shot if your mobile the gift might give you a blueprint, when you get the sling shot, see how much rock you need, best way to get rock is mine rocks with hatchet, once you get it just shoot at it and run away BUT KEEP YOUR EYES ON IT and keep shooting then give it all of your berries but if it is not enough then get more berries while it is eating it’s berries DON’T USE NARCO BERRIES (black berries that makes it more sleepy) UNLESS YOU NEED TO btw the best berry for this is mojo berry ( yummy purple berries) it is medium to get the mojo berry because you get 1 or 2 on a bush (some of them might not give it) anyways hope you enjoyed this tutorial have a good day!

So when I tamed mine it had just finished killing a Sarco it was a low level over 700 health, but it was at 190. I hit it with my bat until it broke then I had to use my fist! Ez knockout.

Easiest way to kill it is to have at least 30 to 40 arrows and a bow . As they are slow you can walk backwards and keep shooting it and it will die . Just watch if have anything behind you

Amazing scourge of keratin because they are common

Just make sure your using something strong to kill them like a trike or you have a sword or a gun.

In order to knock out a Carbo simply kite it around whilst shooting it in the head with a slingshot, a carbonemys makes for a great early game tame.

You can ride them without a saddle by simply jumping onto their back. This works with both tamed and wild carbos.

Extra: you can whistle a carbo around to get it to move where you want if you don't have a saddle

If you want to tame or kill one of these, BE WARNED, they are freaking tanks, and will hunt you until you are dead, or it's dead.

If you want easy keriten, a giant turtle is the thing for you! They mostly Spawn on beaches or in the ocean, to kill these turtles you need a bow and a buttload of arrows, go on rock that is tall, aim and fire at the turts head, keep doing this and you're good!

HOW TO TAME A CARBONEMYS AT LEVEL ONE

1. Weaponry

at level one, all you have to knock out creatures is your bare hands. However, if you managed to kill something, there is a chance it can drop items, slingshots are notable.

2. Tactics

Fists

Punch the Carbonemys head on. When it's neck moves, move to the right.

Ranged weapons

Shoot from a distance. If it gets close, turn around, run for about 5 seconds, and start firing again. (While firing, move backwards.)

3.Food

Carbonemys prefer regular kibble, but obviously, we don't have that at level one. So mejoberries will have to do.

You might need narcoberries depending on the level.

4. Congratulations!!

You did it! You now have a Carbonemys, without a single xp point.
