Tea leaves wouldn’t even recognize as taming food on my map (Crystal isles Unofficial PC server) just use Mejo and save yourself the disappointment.

Carbonemys are pretty good First tames for me the easiest way to tame these turtle bois is to slingshot them a bunch and run away when he gets close

This isn't fast... But they are awsome when the matter is defending... Also I recommend tame 1 then kill 3 to get those Chitine to make his saddle... Then u can tame tose raptors.. They are so big that those raptors won't be able to touch u... This is fantastic

Remember when u want to kill it u have to stay in high place or this will knock u down

I always tame these guys using a slingshot. I shoot them right on their heads till it’s unconscious and give them a bunch of mejoberries and just in case i always give them narcoberries even if their torpor drops so slow.

Tamed 4 or something of these dudes or girls whatever their all girls anyway)

1.slingshot with 20+ stone may need a lot to ko

2. Give it berries (I use the blue berries)

3.Protect the tame from dilos etc

4. You have your tame hopefully

When I was up on my new house I just built I tried two kill one of these guys so I hit one with my bow and it ran over and tried taking my whole house down and there where two of them!!! And I knew I was screwed. One got in my up stairs the other was out side. One was up stairs. And yes it climbed up a rock and jumped in threw the top of my house and then tried killing me so I jumped over the one that was in my second floor and I got out of the house and one of them killed me so stay away from these guys. Don’t try to kit one when there is another next to it

They're very good for breeding. Just get a crossbow and tranq arrows, since they move very slowly you really only need to walk backwards while shooting it in the end.

Just find a trike, and tame that instead.

Punch 🤜 and die to the one that you punched

Use a a slingshot and if it gets close back away because they are slow. When knocked out feed berry's and easy tame and good for protecting you and your dinos

Do spin on the animal with a bat and it's easy to find a good level

1 grab your crossbow.

2 find a carbonemys make sure it doesn't have a mate.

3 keep shootings it’s legs on till it dies.

4 find the egg then take it.

5 ride away into the sunset

This is like if a Trike was a little worse at collecting and damage and a little better at swimming and tanking, great for beach dwellers as they can swim pretty quick even when encumbered, and an early decent harvest tame. I tamed a level 150, non single player settings and 3x taming speed, with a slingshot, about 200 stone, and 75 Mejo berries. I'd trap it first if you can, they can't break wood. Aim for the head, legs, and if you really can't hit those, the tail. Otherwise prepare to need a lot more stone. Bring supplies to repair your slingshot as well, and worst to worst, club it in the head. You can outpace them just walking backwards on land.

These guys are a must-tame for new players. They have tons of health, can swim and can be ridden as well. Do be careful though, hit it while trying to KO it and run! These turbo turtles will give chase and attack you. Use a slingshot to do the deed.

An albeit time consuming wall for your base just get a circle of turtles facing their heads inward (because shell and tail have less than 1 multipliers) and boom

When u notice that u are being chased by predator, Find Bunch of these dinos in wild and Jump up on their backs and Watch the predator And These guys Fight or run away 😝

Whatever you do do not steal a wild turtle egg they will kill you but for some reason when I do it I just get really far away and they don’t come after me because I never see them again maybe they got killed or eaten
