If you are doing gamma or beta and already have good Rexes you can use them and a yuty just fine. But for alpha I def recommend megatheriams. The gamma of this boss is insanely easy. I beat the gamma with Rexes with ascended saddles 9 k health and 450 meelee very easily like if this helps.
Ps for alpha you might want to bring a daedon. Make sure your megs have veggie cakes!
Allos!!!!!!! Alpha allo 20 shots anything!!!!!!! 5 allos 1 yuti and you won.
This is one of the bosses of ARK.It spawns araneos
to help it in battle. You spawn it by using an
artifact you can get while Spelunking in caves. Up
so noobs can see!
How To Easily Kill Broodmother
Preperarion
1. Tame like 5 megatheriums, these guys look slow but can easily rip you apart if you don't mount something fast like a beelzubufo. They do so much damage to bugs and gather chitin really well
2. Next you need to tame a ton of high level rexes I used level 80-140. And a 1 or 2 high level daedons with LOTS of meat
3. After that bring high durablilty riot gear, assault rifles, stimulants, and rockets with a rocket launcher.
4. Parade your army to the obelisk and once you get there whistle attack your target and open fire with your assault rifles.
Thats the easiest way I know to beat broodmother
The best method is using megatheriums, they have a buff when they kill bugs and spiders and … that they do more damage and take less damage, 18 megatheriums (high melee and health , I recommend mutating and imprinting and leveling , watch syntac’s guide video for that) and you need a good yutyrannus with high Stam and health, and also a daeodon, put food in the daeodon because it’s healing ability needs food in it, put the daeodon on ignore group whistles with interacting with its behavior setting, ride the yuty in arena, use your courage roar ability to buff your dinos, every 10 second get off your yuty and use your daeodon ability for healing your megatheriums while they are fighting, I couldn’t explain better than this, for more help I recommend watching syntac boss fighting videos
I would recommend bringing an army of 1 yutyrannus 1 daeodon and 18 megatherium because they will get the insect buff while fighting the broodmother and killing the spiders. You should ride around on the yutyranns buffing them while the daeodon heals them.
Bring 10 Rex’s 2 yutys 3 pigs all your friends and 5 bug killers
Just 19 imprinted megatheriums and one yuty , each megatherium with some veggie cakes for healing or you can remove 2 megatheriums and put 2 daeodons instead
Entered alpha brood with 16 rexes:
45k hp, 800-900% dmg and 112armor saddle
1 yuty 35k hp standard 25sadle and 3k stamina.
All died at Lysrix 30% hp
Gg wp... should have taken a deodon with me...
All the metal on the sadles as a solo player make me want to cry...
Megatheriums are the way to go.You should bring a Yuty to every boss fight . Deadons are also recommended but not necessary, and also use good armor and saddles for all bosses.
When i first fought lystrix, i was over paranoid about how strong she'd be, so i bred and tamed 5 spinos, and 5 rexes. It was an absolute pain to get them to an obelisk, but when it came to the battle, it only lasted around 5-7 seconds. Might have been my settings, might have been my choice of dinos.
Did gamma today with 4 tamed megatherium's. Honey tamed between levels 135 and 150, 15K hp each and they didn't even lose half their hp.
I was on single player, did all the official work necessary to face the alpha version. Just to make it interesting I spawned a lvl 1500 rex.... she still took it down. R.I.P. Rexy.
Attacks: Poison spray, swipe with left leg, swipe with right leg, webs, and can summon araneos (high levels!!!).
How to defeat: There are 3 armies of dinos you can bring to battle, and here they are: First army: About 6-10 rexes (tek or regular), a yuty, and a daeodon. Second army: about 2-4 packs of allos, a yuty, and a daeodon. Last army: A BUNCH of theris, a yuty, and a daeodon. Make sure all of the creatures are high level!!! Good Luck!!!
Use megatheriums for the boost when they kill bugs
I'm doing this on alpha. My megatheriums have 30k health and 800 damage (19 megatheriums 1 yuty) wish me luck
Commonly the first guardian people fight (due to the artifact requirements), the broodmother is far from the easiest, with the highest health pool out of the island bosses, though less dps, this big ol spider is either super easy or a terrifying beast which can wipe out armies with ease, so, as someone who’s defeated it, here’s some tips to ensure you too can claim the alpha broodmothers head.
With almost a million hp, the alpha broodmother is meant to be fought with high level, mutated and imprinted Dino’s. The most optimal choice is megatheriums, with relatively cheap saddles, common spawns and their extremely powerful bug rage, allowing them to take less damage and deal far more, making them the best option for this fight. By simply having them harvest one of the spider minions, they become monstrously powerful. I’d suggest about 20-25k hp on each of them, with 1k melee aswell, saddles should be anywhere between journeyman and ascendant. If you want an extra level of safety, add about 5 veggie cakes to each of them, though it is quite expensive. Bring along a yuty with high stamina to boost the megatheriums even further. The boss is coded to target the largest tame in the arena, so it’ll try to target the yuty over the others until attacked, allowing the Megas to get in some early damage. Your goal is to keep the brood stuck, if she managed to get loose, your dps will be reduced greatly.
Another way to fight the boss is with theris, using the same stats as the megas. Rexs are good too, but due to being larger then a yuty and being carnivorous, they not only are targeted instantly when entering the arena, but can’t get extra healing from veggie cakes.
Recommend equipment:
Ascendant armor (riot or flak)
Ascendant pump shotgun (if you lose your tames)
Medbrews galore (if you get damaged too much while running from it, specifically if you’ve lost all your mounts)
Dino stats:
20-25k hp, for easier leveling get 60 points of natural stats through mutations before leveling.
1k melee, same points before leveling as hp.
Saddles:
Journeymen or higher, 60+ armor preferably.
Color with cool combos for style points.
Misc: the broodmother is the only one of the guardian bosses to have an open world variant, found in the spider cave entrance on valguero.
This should all be enough on SINGLEPLAYER SETTINGS, for multiplayer stats, preferably use something else, these are for difficulty 1 in single player on ark survival evolved.
Good luck, survivor, you’ll need it!
Always do the level 3 boss because doing them all takes more resources and if you complete level 3 you get the rewards from 1 and 2 also.
On fjordur, the broodmother has water pools in theit arena to boost either shadowmanes or spinos.
