Utility Tips

What is a brontosaurus used for? brontosaurus battling strategies in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
This works with all platform saddle dinos, but if you want to load dinos (rexes and other big dinos included) you can build a open elevator up to the height of a titanosaur's platform and have a ladder up the back. You could even stack a quetzal on a paracer on a bronto on a titanosaur if the elevator is big enough
Amazing protectors. Loud as can be and shake the earth so much you almost can't see straight, but goodness, they can kill pretty much anything attacking you! Had a level 5 or 6 that took on a theri that had taken out my Diplodocus (I have the immersive taming mod, makes life easy). Killed it in seconds. Oh, added bonus, they can carry a LOT mine carries a house's-worth of supplies pretty much all the time. Slow, bit SO worth it!!!
I think there’s some kind of structure weight reduction when building on these guys. I have a massive base with lots of furniture in it. The platform saddle is 20 weight, and with nothing in its inventory, the total weight on it is 35 weight. Very nice. If you’re playing with friends, go for a Brontosaurus base if you don’t have access to a Quetzal or Mosasaurus.
These are amazing for getting metal. I spawn west 2 (AKA cragg’s island) on mobile bring this to red mountain in the redwoods with a mount like a thirizino or something slow but strong (you can also just bring the bronto and ride that) and harvest some metal (I think bronto can carry about 1300 or even more) and come back. I got my industrial forge this way . Thank my bronto flooposaurus for helping
