If you're grinding for something that requires a lot of thatch, don't bother with a pick. Use this boi. I was grinding for a stone battlement, and my Bronto was way faster to use. If you're wondering what I used I used a lvl 62 Theri, lvl 39 Dodic & a lvl 42 Bronto.

Another option for getting off of it without taking fall damage is just to yabba dabba doo slide down the tail.

Or build a ladder off of the platform.

Low level Brontos can be tamed fairly easily with just a regular bow. They are worth taming and breeding at lower levels to gain eggs for exceptional kibble and easy prime meat.

If you have a problem with tress or need berries, use this big guy, I deforestated a jungle within 7 in game days.

They should add more attacks to these guys, something like a stomp would be great for them

To get down the bronto just simply force feed it some berries and when it bends it's neck down to eat you can walk off its neck, my method.

I like to name one Wild Bronto and have it wander around nearby as a berry tame that’s unlikely to die :)

An easy way to move a lot of materials for long distances; however, it is really inefficient if the bronto’s stamina and speed aren’t high. Put anky(s) on the saddle for transporting metal, theri(s) for wood, doedic(s) for stone, etc… Putting dinos on top of the bronto allows it to carry more than its acc weight limit allows.

It’s amazing at berries. All you need is a spot with a lot of berry bushes and a good way to get spoiled meat and you have infinite narcotics

A fun fact is brontos will do a lot of damage but can’t gather the meat

If you want a bronto base but want a way to get of while not getting hurt just put a door in the back where the tail is then run down the tail. You will take way less damage or not take any at all.

Whilst there is a base on it don’t cryopod it will destroy your work so don’t build it in the middle of the ocean (on a island) or you’ve got a choice get it killed by megladons or lose your base

Tame it if you want 90K tranq arrows or 500k berries in a hour

You need all of the storage. I just got the saddle for my bronto (pretty cheap) and it is only level 33. This is my first world on ark. After 3 swings of collection, FULL. My bronto was full of 3000+ weight of berries. Only do one swing and that is all you need in early game. This is advice for other beginners like me. I don’t see myself going harvesting for the foreseeable future.

Get you a high lvl bronto and take it to the lunar area on genesis and swipe by the crystal rocks and you'll easily get 1k crystal 3k rocks and if close enough to the wood you'll get a full weight bronto.. put a platform saddle on and make a smithy and you'll make behemoth gates for days..

Cool thing about this guy is that you can build a base on his back and in pve I put his health up and now that's my base I have a big base but when I'm wondering I take him there also good berry gatherers these guys wipe forestes.
