Taming & KO Tips

How do I tame a brontosaurus? Tips and strategies on taming and knocking out a brontosaurus.
If you are looking to get one off of your tail, and you have tranq darts, all you need to do is fire at least 13 darts into its body and mostly its head and then it will begin running due to torpor. If you’re looking to tame it, grab a bunch of vegetables, more specifically, savroots, as they prefer them over the other crops, but you only need at least a hundred and eight or so. Otherwise, ironically, their main weakness is verticality. If you are looking to not have to slowly back up as you fill it with darts, you can stand on a cliff, such as at herbivore island, and it will run into the cliff side without being able to reach you, after which you can just unload on it.
It's SOOOOOOOO easy all you need to do is make a stone tower with swirly stiars 15 walls tall stand on top and shoot with 200 tranquil arrows put a Smithy up there with matrices to repair crossbow make sure to have at least 2 exceptional kibble i tamed a 150 bronto that way.
If you don’t know how to tame a bronto steel its child (that’s how I got mine)
All you really need is about 40 tranq arrows a crossbow and you will want to stay on a not so high cliff after you knock it out you will need 200 mejoberries
Ig You can tame this giants with a tranq arrows and bow/crossbow u just need so many tranqs just dont let them hit u or u r dead and they are the best defenders if leveled up in a good way They like carbonemys kibble so u should get it better I encounter most of them in beaches so thats all I know.
What I have done to knock it out is get onto of a cliff taller than it and shoot down
Very easy to tame just spam tranq arrows and feed it a bout 80 berries and bam u got a bronto.and if your lvl 63 ish it's going to be ridiculously expensive for the platform saddle just saying
I just tamed one and it didn't need any black berried at all(forgot the name sorry)1
if you do not have the kibble, and only have mejoberries, ypu will need to patiently wait for an entire hour and some minutes to get this thing tamed, although no narcotis is needed since this giant loves to sleep...
1 foundation, walls on it, door frames on the walls, no ceiling. You can stand in the hut and tranq bronto. No running or standing on high places needed, it can’t hit you.
Look for a very high Rock or a Cliff with a Flyer. The Rock/Cliff should be about as high as the bronto. When you shoot him he wont be able to Hit you, but his head will be directly in Front of you , so can easyly shoot His head because he has a 1.5x head multiplier.
These are more intimidating then deadly. ^ to say u agreeeee
If you just build a small stone hut with windows you can tranc the bronto in there then when it runs chase it while shooting they eat very quickly I tamed one a couple days ago and if it’s a male here’s what I named mine billy the bronto thanks for reading
Herbivore island is the best place to tame it, start by locating a high level, then, punch it, go to the "crater", get onto your pt(or tapejara) and fly onto the mountaintop and tranq it.
Pls prepare 120.Mejo berries for a level 6 and that is it
low level players. ALWAYS have the high ground taming this dude. you can’t really run and knock it out. you kinda just have to have the hight avantage. unless your a giga chad i wouldn’t recommend punching them
ko
Mobile players, DON’T EVER FEED IT STIMBERRY WHILE TAMING, IT GIVES A 0.1 TAMING RATE FOR EVERY STIMBERRY (Meaning 0.1 Taming is added in the Taming bar) IT TAKES FOREVER WITH STIMBERRYS!!
The earlier you can tame one the better. We haven't even made a fabricator and we got one. We had so many narcotics taming became so much easier. Early game a low level is still good and is still hard to kill since it has knock back. Get one if you starting
Bring about 70 tranqs depending on it lvl al lvl 3 will take 15 a 19 will take 27 tranq arows use some kibble and soothing barn it will tame it quickly
Brontosaurus prefers carrots over mejoberries
