How my friend „stole“ my Bronto
Recently, me and my friend wanted to change servers so I tamed a bronto 100% alone to take him with us. I made a saddle also 100% alone and we went to the red obelisk. I told him I was going to upload the bronto, but while I checked for items I had to leave behind, he just uploaded the bronto himself. After downloading the bronto on the other server everything went fine, until I noticed something on the brontos information tab that appears when you look at him. That information tab said that my friend tamed the bronto alone. I just figured theres no way to change that back. One arrow to the sky for every time I should throw his full metal gear right off a cliff. Anyways Brontos are just awesome.
Here is a very sad story
I built a spike wall fence around my property but I didn’t finish it so Dino’s could still get in. One night I was going adventuring and I came home and a bronco was standing at my house. I thought it would be fine because it didn’t have a reason to aggro but then I saw it start to thrash it’s tail back and forth. It had gotten stuck in my property aggroed by the spike wall. A ran towards my house and watched in horror as dodos flew through the air and words flashed on the screen telling me my tames were dying. The body of Tiko, one of my best dodos, landed in front of me. The bronto finally got out and ran it killed a dozen of my breeding dodos and a few of my dilos. it also damaged my houses. I went down to the beach and found Spitters body in the sand, and also found Dan and my carbonemys alive on the beach. But sadly, I lost my best dodo Mop, who always stuck by my side, survived, and was strong. I made a grave up on a hill for mop, which I visit every day. To this day, I have tames lost somewhere on the map that I can’t find.
The lesson is, if you start building a spike wall perimeter, finish it.
RIP Mop
I tamed A bronto once by tranquillizing him.
So basically a had a crossbow and a bunch of tranq arrows, and I was thinking about taming a bronto. So I used Dododex to see how many tranqs I needed. However, I forgot to put in the level. I got my some more tranqs, and started shooting. A bunch of rocks near my base made the terrain uneven which actually helped a ton. I also had 300 max hp. Anyway after I used the amount of tranqs that should have KOd him, I got worried. I did have some extras, but I quickly got down to my last arrow. I was sure I was gonna die, but I still shot my last arrow. The bronto kept attacking but I was saved by the rocks. Then, the final effects of the last arrow finished and he started running due to high torpor. I ran after him and clubbed him until he fell unconscious, and tamed him without another problem.
So i had my first bronto,he was grey with black,i named him brontzilla,he died to someone raiding me by leading my dinos into the ocean…i lost a ton of dinos..but im better at ark nowadays. But nothing will ever replace brontzilla my og starter game bront(ps:one of my good friends who dont play ark anymore tamed it)
So by my house there is this bronto, and it just chills and walks around. A lot of times it ends up walking on my house. One time though, it was just chilling with one foot on my house, grunted, then took a poo in the spot where I was trying to build a pen, then just walked away 🤦♀️.
So this literally just happened. There’s a bronto near my base and I know that broncos can easily kill me. I shot it with an arrow. It killed my silo, one of my parasaurs, and my trike. The embarrassing part, I didn’t die from bronto. I died from starvation. R.I.P. Jessica(dilo), Perry(parasaur) and unnamed trike cuz I had tamed him 20 minutes before for my brother.
I was moving all of my takes to the Red Obelisk because of the amazing base site. Five (including my bronto) got left behind by my first caravan. I was taking my bronto across the last inlet leading from the east to the Obelisk. We were in the home stretch!... but the megapirranhas were hungry and wanted a taste of my bronto. She had 4000+ wood in her, as well as many other resources. Deadpool was a good girl. That was the first time I had ever nearly cried over a game, because she was one of my earlier tames. I was about level 20-30 when I tamed her. I had to take a break from ARK. Hecc those stupid fish.
So first, thank you all for 6 likes! It’s my new record! Apparently people like chapter 3! I still can’t believe people actually read these 😂. Anyway..
It’s time for stupid fan fic!
Chapter 6: Herbivore plans
The herbivores had finally started making a strategy against the carnivore forces. Sequoia had been sitting in a council room for hours, making up plans and dealing with kingdom business.
The plan was simple, make a new technology of metal plates wore by soldiers with steel spikes, then the carnivores cant bite them. (Spiked armor :3)
“How will we test if it works though?” One of the councilors asked Sequoia, just as she was about to exit for a rest. “Don’t you know we have a certain dinosaur in the dungeon, a toothy, murderous one?” Sequoia answered.
3 days later…
Sequoia stood in the dirty, vile dungeon while she watched the prototype spiked armor do its work. It was being worn by a small kentasaurus, who was waiting silently in the shadows for the beast.
They waited for around 10 minutes. And then it appeared. Almost instantly it snapped down on the soldier in front of it, but the spikes tore through its throat. The carnivore screeched, collapsed on the ground, blood oozing from its mouth.
“I-it it worked!” The soldier said, slowly backing away from the beast on the ground. “Perfect..” Sequoia remarked, nodding. “We finally have the answer to this monstrous army of carnivores!”
Yay! All done! This was probably my favorite chapter so far. Spiky armor go brrrrrrrr. Would anyone like to see chapter 3.5, in the perspective of height? Since we hit a new record, I’ll ask for 8 likes for the height chapter, stay tuned peeps!
