Brontos are peaceful until attacked or their eggs are taken, so avoid provoking them near your base or tames. To fight one, lure it away from structures into open terrain, use ranged attacks while keeping your distance, and take advantage of rocks or other obstacles to avoid its powerful tail swings and stomps.
