this is why : since they like to wander around, There's a chance that they will get stabbed by the spikes when they wander near your base. And they will get mad at you, kill your tames, and wreck your base.

so please be careful and think twice before setting up spikes near your base.

That was a diplodocus not a bronto diplodocus are small and have straight necks and pointy teeth for stripping leaves off of bushes and ferns while brontos are big with bendy necks and kind of beak like mouths for snapping leaves and twigs put of the canopy.

1. Build a raft

2. Find egg

3. Grab egg

4. Dash to raft before funny long neck dino catches you

5. Get as far away from land as you can

6. You now have egg

If your going to kill this creature use a tame with a lot of melee but you don't need a whole lot of health as long as you hit pretty fast because this creature dosent do crazy damage but has good aoe and crazy good health
