Update on these Brutes, in Genesis DLC, these guys collect fibre, crystal, stone, thatch, rare mushrooms, and wood! Head to Lunar biome and collect all the materials you need. Use there weight to hold your crafted items!
Just found out something really useful about Brontos! You can use them to transport goods a long way, but sometimes you have more than the bronto can carry, so, if you pack your resources on something like a high level parasaur or iguanodon, and put it on the platform saddle, it only takes the Dinos drag weight, not resource weight, allowing you to carry tons of materials at half the weight! Arrow so people can see this!
It would be good if this dinosaur gets a new attack, like a stomp, because, a tail that whips opponents gets boring. And a stomp makes sense due to its large size. Hopefully people agree, and those who see this suggest it to wildcard.
If you're grinding for something that requires a lot of thatch, don't bother with a pick. Use this boi. I was grinding for a stone battlement, and my Bronto was way faster to use. If you're wondering what I used I used a lvl 62 Theri, lvl 39 Dodic & a lvl 42 Bronto.
I sometimes wonder why the bronto only has a tail whip attack, I mean, just look at it, it’s huge, I think it should have a stomp attack, or an attack similar to the paracertherium (gets up on its hind legs and slams down on its front legs). It makes sense because of how big it is, it would also make the bronto, less boring, if anyone knows the ark discord can someone suggest this to them. Hopefully it becomes available across all platforms, especially console, pc and mobile.
Fun fact, these aren’t real dinosaurs! Not technically anyway… Palentoligist Othniel C. Marsh found the apatosaurus fossil in 1877, and well he found another fossil, naming it brontosaurus, although it was the same thing as an apatosaurus. So really this should be called an apatosaurus, NOT a brontosaurus.
