I tried taming a level 55 with 100 bloodpacks and it only got tamed halfway

Tamed a level 15 female with 70 -75 blood packs 50% taming efficiency & 6 to spare on single player settings 😅😮‍💨 was so worried for my tribe mate taming it barely made it.. thankfully packed 2 parachutes because after it tamed it dropped him.. (this was single player but you can use split screen so I was playing with my little bro) RN trying to get home with the frog we came with and the bloodstalker Bloody Mary we’re leaving with.

Firstly bring bug repellent, swarms can and will interrupt the game.

Secondly i recommend using a throw away tame like a parasaur or something unless you want to farm several hundred blood packs

After obtained make sure to passively farm blood packs to keep in your inventory because when it gets low it will start attacking you or taking blood packs to heal

Using the web grab without fully pulling them in is a good way to hold smaller creatures in place when trying to knock them unconscious if I remember correctly

If your on PC, drink a beer and it randomizes the names

Juveniles and up will not eat blood bags or cooked meat from a trough - make sure you have raw meat

You just let it attack you and it tames

Do not do taming effectiveness tame a low level and if you know where some nearby surviver notes are it is pretty fast high and low level so go to some player notes and upgrade what is needed ;)

Unless you want a high level

But this works for high levels to just low levels better because they need less XP😀

you should always bring a wyvern or one of those things that can carry a rex cause I learned that the hard way

How to get free blood packs on genesis 1 servers: Step one: hop on your bloodstalker and hang in a tree. Step two: wait for a person trying to tame a bloodstalker. Step three: climb down and kill him. Step four: grab the blood packs. Step five: done!

They must pick up you and getting blood from you and he is taming on ps4

When you run out of blood packs:

Baby bloodstalker eats 1 meat about every 12 seconds

If you watch Syntac, you will see that he scouts out what levels the BS’S are, and the low level ones he shoots down with a longneck, so, also in my experience, if they are shot off of a tree and are on the ground, they can’t grasp you, so they won’t interrupt you while u try tame the high level one you’ve found.

If breeding 2 campires are perfect

Go to E and go to the big tree to find them

Use phase pistols to heal tribemates easy tame no need for bloodpacks now.

A great strat to tame these dudes is to get a snow owl and whenever you get low health from extracting blood hop on the snow owl to heal, and do not eat if you dont need to because the snow owl will drain your food hardcore! Rinse and repeat and you will have enough to tame any level! Also if you dont have a snow owl you can also just keep killing yourself with the blood extraction tool, but then you have the respawn wait on the bed. Also if your on console and you transfer a dino DO NOT QUIT ARK it will delete your dino R.I.P. spindly spider (bloodstalker)😢😢😢😢

If you let the bloodstalker kill some of your tamed dinos before you tame it it makes taming quicker since the taming efficiency doesnt go down as quick.
