NEED TO KNOW BEFORE TAMING!
Okay, so I saw one in a river opening on Crystal Isles. I thought the mantas attack you as soon as you go near. So I slowly approached the tail near the river bank. The mantas didnโt agro on me, I thought I was just far enough away. No. Oh no no no noooo. It turns out the mantas ATTACK the second you feed it. Please donโt do what I did haha
P.S I lost my otter to the mantas. R.I.P
More Basilosaurus Taming & KO Tips
How to tame: Basilosaurus. You will need: Icthy with saddle, a nearby leed and a basilo to tame. Step 1: get on your icthy and scrape meat off the leed until you get prime fish meat. Step 2: find your basilo and put the meat in your hot bar. Step 3: feed meat to the basilo, don't worry, the mantas won't aggro on your icthy. TIP: The interval from 1st to 2nd feed take awhile, but after that it goes pretty quick, so after that interval, be on your guard. Step 4: Keep feeding until it's tamed. TIP: Before you start to passive tame it, bite it once, the mantas will swim away, then start to passive tame, you can still passive tame. Or you can bite it during 1st to 2nd interval. Step 5: there is your very own basilo! lead it back to yoir base and name it.
This creature is so easy to tame. All you need is:
1. An Ichthyosaurus(these guy won't be attack by any water creature, except the jellyfish)
2. Anykind of meat(I suggest using prime meat and don't use fish meat)
3. Find one of these creature
4. Feed it prime meat(It's a long time between the 1st and the 2nd feed, after the 2nd feed it's fast)
And then you get one of these, just be careful of the megalodons, they will attack right after it is tamed. I hope this is useful for you<3
A living oil mine and immune to jellyfish and someone who likes to ignore the hug of the Tuso . Yup definitely worth taming and for some of you who donโt know how to tame this kind of Dino then this is how you do it
Step 1: put the item you will use to tame in your hot bar
Step 2: get close to the Dino then tap the item to feed it then keep feeding it until it tame up
I am telling process because I had problems passive taming when I was a beginner
Hope this was helpful :)
So I found this guy at a island where herbivores spawned I had some prime meat I feed it and I tamed it once it is tamed everything attacks it
Fun fact: the first time you feed it, it takes a while. The rest of the time, itโs much faster, donโt worry!
I play in mobile if u ride a icthyosaur while taming it the manta's won't attack u
Dodex fix your stuff takes like 5 mins for hungry again
Donโt actually knock it out its a passive tame. Mine took around 23 meat and 15 minutes for a lvl 70 basil, totally worth it.
