Tried to tame a Basilisk, ended up walking into my own bear trap and had to pause the game. It's right behind me, I only have basic armour on 6 tranc arrows and a club. My health is 1000 and my melee damage is 500 ( I think). I also don't have a checkpoint. Am I screwed?

I tried to tame a 150 using my rock drake, Blue. I tried to feed egg next to it but I had to drop it instead. It ate me and murdered blue.

I finally tamed the basilisk, but blue is no longer with us.

Tip: Easy tame, all you have to do is find the rarest eggs in the game and then feed them to the deadliest creature in the game.
