If you breed baryonyx a bunch you can get insane mutations on Melee my current baryonyx has 2100 melee damage and it can take on a Tek Rex no problem (it was level 74 and my bary is level 141)

They’re the best caving Dino, but watch out for the lava cave and the volcano cave! My first one died to arthros and bats in the volcano cave

The baryonyx is a excellent cave dino they reck caves with ez so I recommend taming 1 if u r gonna go cave adventureing.

These guys are probably the best caving mount, they’re decently strong, have fast health regen, are small but still pretty tall to avoid arthros, are great swimmers and have no oxygen and can jump. They have an easy time hitting bats just be careful with your jumps in the lava cave especially.

They are super good at the cave of the hunter. My bary is in level 35 and i have completed it like 15 times. Good luck with the cave. (Watch a video aboat the artifact location)

Alpha Megalodons can be stunned by the tail spin attack. This means even a low-level baryonyx can safely kill them.

Baryonix Survival Evolved

Hi hello and howdy! Im a console player here to make the ultimate survival and other tips. Now I have a 98 lvl baryonix. Here’s how I tamed him:

Remember: They CAN breath underwater.

Knockout: (Bola don’t work :)) I play genesis 2 so I would just fly in the air shooting tranq arrows like a noob but do find a high place and shoot. When it runs just go run at it shooting. I tamed mine underwater when I didn’t know it was a water Dino.

Use (for taming food): Raw fish meat, and raw prime fish meat (personally these are way better so you can keep track of the bary)

Fight off any Dino’s who would kill your sleeping bary

Wait all the time giving it food and any narcotics and berries.

I would say their torpidity for taming is in the middle of fast and slow

Name ideas!: name them after present day water rocks based on their color! (Mine was red so I named it after a coral)

In real life, I prefer Spinos over Baryonyx but Studio Wildcard made Baryonyx better than Spinos in ARK

Baryonyxes can stun you,stun means like your knocked out or your frozen its very weird but only in water

But a spinosaurus can not stun you

Baryonyx is related to the suchomimus

There's no suchomimus in Ark Survival Evolved

I recomend this creature for caves and water caves the stun is op and its better if u get an imprinted one u can use this guys with a thyla and megatherium and lemme tell u will rule the caves

I have a wild Barry that kills spinos very easily these are easy to get and awesome tames

Quick tip in ark mobile A eel was attacking me but my bary was not affected but i dont know if this really works so, not immune to jellyfish though

Me and my friend hunt megoladons with this and a sarco and with the stunning hit it can easily beat an alpha megalodon.

Those bastards can B-Hop! Just jump at the right timings and they'll break the sound barrier in no time! (at least on PS4)
