The Baryonyx is roughly the size of a carno and has land speed that match’s a Raptor, also note that it has no foot fall noise, plus the fact that it is a disant swimmer and can stun survivors in water, makes these guys to try to avoid.
However they are fairly easy to tame, they can be bolaed and take about fifteen tranq arrows to knockout at level fifty, plz note they only eat fish meat.

Spino + Raptor = Baryonyx. faster than the raptor on land and faster than the spino in water... cool dinosaur
1: Do not fight them in water under any circumstances
2: Lure them on to land
3: Use a bola
4: Attempt to Tranquilse with bow and arrow or better
Remember: They can only be tamed with fish meat and they usually kill all the fish in the area so you should probably have some prepared beforehand.

Do not confuse with an iguanodon from a distance and come running, or worse, swimming, at it to kill it. Just don't.
Baryonyx are quick like Allosaurus and do just as much damage (but don't get a pack bonus). They don't use oxygen for swimming and can sprint in the water. Right click in the water does an AoE stun that lasts about 10 sec. Their 'C' is a... Taunt? They also jump and you can fire a weapon from their back.
Can be carried by an Argie...
Baryonyx is king of the seas! Tame with Pachyrhinosaurus kibble and use them to help you tame basilosaurus as they can stun all the Manta that follow!

These dinos like the water so look by the rivers! They are good swimmers and if you live near beaver dams an easy saddle to make!
It's like a small Allo combined with a Kapro, in my opinion. Useful on both land & in the water. Use its secondary attack while swimming to stun, attack, and harvest. Does NOT stun Cnidarias, though, so do not expect to overpower them.
The baryonyx is great for getting raw fish meat and raw prime fish meat
