Stand on a rock where they can not reach you or a cliff and tranq them out! Make sure you are not too near the deep waters so you don’t have to venture out there to keep an eye on the tame

Best way to tame is get on high rock shot with traq arrows

Use a simple 2*1 trap with 1 high doorframes and a ramp to easily tame I tamed one with thatch as it focused on destroying the doorframe instead of trying to attack me but this only works with really low levels if medium use stone

It’s not hard to tame and can be tamed easily at lvl 30

These can be found near swamp areas so lure it out and into trap FAR AWAY FROM SWAMP

Or it’ll be killed by twenty million sarcos and kapros

Tame using prime fish meat which can be obtained by killing megladons and harvesting with metal pick

I got one near a river where I was planning to tame a spino but I saw the baryonyx and then decided to tame him since the spino was gone now I realized how worthy taming him was so If you decide to tame one go with your crossbow and atleast 10 tranc arrows and 20 fish meat and you won't regret it.

Addition to my tip, I forgot to say that I play Mobile on Brutal difficulty that's why so many tranqs XD it slipped my mind. Dododex doesn't let you edit tips so had to make another. Sorry for confusion guys.

How to tame a baryonyx!

1. Find a baryonyx (they’re found near and in swaps)

2. Make a trap/make bolas (you could also use an argy to take the bary to a trap or somewhere else more safer)

3. Trap or bola the baryonyx

4. Knock it out! (I used my bow with 353 damage and I used about 20 tranq arrows on a 270 baryonyx)

5. Use a smoothing balm if you want I’ll make the process faster! ( you can get smoothing balms by running caves and turning in the artifact!)

6. Feed the bary prime fish meat! ( get a sickle and kill a lot of sabertooth salmons and harvest them with the sickle!)

7. Wait for your new baryonyx to tame!

Stockpile a lot of fish if you don't have kibble. In exchange for the low narcotic drain, you need a lot of food to feed.

Today i have some reccomendation to tame this spinosauridae family

First of lets prepared the food ur gonna need for most effective to least effecttive:

Pachyrhinosaurus kibble/mobile

Raw prime fish meat

Cooked prime fish meat

Fish meat and

Cooked fish meat

Baryonyx can be found in beaches like spinosaurus place. Baryonyx Can be found in swamps they love hunting for fish meats be aware for sarco, titanoboa, and kapro, to tame this one ur gonna need the high ground or build a 6 pillars tall then shoot it with tranq darts/trang arrow. U can also used a box trap 2×2 woden foundation 8 wooden door frame and 2 rails, lure the baryonyx and knock it out as pleasure make sure u maintains it torpor using bio toxin ot narcotics so it dosent wake up unti its tamed now for the bonus info

Baryonyx saddle can be learn at level 49 the primary attack is a bite attack and the secondary attack is a stun while ur underwater

Baryonyx is an excellent for traveling the island

they only eat fish when tamed. Mine lost almost all his hunger before i figured this out.

This Dino only eats fish meat so make sure to have some when taming this dino also Bolas don't work on this Dino

This is like an earlier tame of the spino. It's incredibly fast, but can be bola'd and tranqed easily if you're smart about it. Keep in mind that it only eats fish meat (before AND AFTER being tamed) so keep it stocked on that. You can also pick it up with an argentavis despite it looking humorously impossible. Besides that you can do the rest :)

these are one of my favorite cave animals as the fit in most caves,do high damage,have good health, and are excellent swimmers. to tame just tame like any other dino amd knock it out with some tranq arrows, feed it some fish meat, and craft a saddke and then Voila, you now have one of the best caving dino!

On mobile you can bola these I throw a bola on accident and then the barxony didn’t move ONLY ON MOBILE so remember only bola these if your on mobile the easiest way to get raw prime fish is the fish that have TEETH SHAPE teeth and you can actually use a club it works THEY ONLY EAT FISH REMBER THAT plz like up if this is not helpful like dowel sorry that’s this is long
