Use a bola then stand behind it with a club bow and arrow etc, they only eat fish meat so make sure u are near a body of water to get the meat.

Get it with an argentavis, and throw it into a taming pen, than knock it out. Never fight it in the water, it will stun u, and it swims faster than u. It only eats fish meat. If it kills a fish it also gets it into its inventory instantly.

I was with my parasaur (joker) minding my own business near the beach shorelines and here comes a level 25 baryonyx and kills us both! So I went back, for my pride and dignity & tamed it! We became best friends since, now he is a level 75, a complete beast in the water with its stun attack. How to tame: easy, Bola it if it’s a low level or build a trap! It ONLY eats fish meat so you need to kill a few fish to put in its inventory to tame.They spawn near swamps and beach shorelines **everything is easier said than done** good luck!

Can be feed raw meat just has to be fed manually not automatically.

Taming in the redwood river you will need:

10 narcotics

A crossbow with 10 tranq arrows

A bola

A crude ton of fish

To tame the Baryonyx, u need a trike level into health. Find a Baryonyx, spawns in swamps and rivers, get it agro on u, stay on your trike, and shoot at it with your crossbow or longneck.

Very fast, good weight and attack dmg, decent torpor and health

Stun ability in water

Copped a lvl 50 pretty easily. Just bring lots of tranqs and bolas. Yep that’s right! They can become victims of the trusty bola! That means you can get one at a fairly early level; although, this goofball won’t be super useful until you’re high enough to get the saddle.

On my mobile you can pick a bary up by an argy just tried it

Easy to knock out once i trapped it but it totally slaughtered me and my brother trying to get it into our taming boat. DONT GET IN THE WATER WITH IT!

When iam playing I saw him and I go with a bola and hinde behind a rock when he see me he come to me but l hit him bola and he stucked and l fire 5-6 bows he diie

Best way to tame is get on high rock shot with traq arrows

Do not tame a low level baryonyx for caves

Very easy tame. Just stand on a rock and shoot a few darts and they’ll be out quick .

Make 2 bear traps, just incase the Bary excape!!!!!

On mobile you can still bola them

Get tranquilizer arrows then shoot it with a friend and then just give it narco berries then wait. Also feed fish only or kibble.

Stand on a rock where they can not reach you or a cliff and tranq them out! Make sure you are not too near the deep waters so you don’t have to venture out there to keep an eye on the tame

Trap ‘em in a wood house thing and while they’re attacking the walls shoot them with tranq arrows/ whatever else can be used. Bola them up to make the process less risky

Use a simple 2*1 trap with 1 high doorframes and a ramp to easily tame I tamed one with thatch as it focused on destroying the doorframe instead of trying to attack me but this only works with really low levels if medium use stone

It’s not hard to tame and can be tamed easily at lvl 30

These can be found near swamp areas so lure it out and into trap FAR AWAY FROM SWAMP

Or it’ll be killed by twenty million sarcos and kapros

Tame using prime fish meat which can be obtained by killing megladons and harvesting with metal pick
