Taming- do dilo persuit to get ascendant bow and shoot it don't tame 50 to 80. Just tame lvl tame 120+

You will found in swamp river (they only eat fish or prime fish) thx

1. Craft 10 bolas (just in case)

2. Make sure you have at least 40 fish

3. Have 2 clubs or 40 tranq arrows

4. Bola the creature

5. Knock it out

6. This only works for lvls 1-10

My happiness was short-lived.

They can get out of the cage, atleast without a special angle that i did not discover or prove existence.

Tip: If you build a trap for it you just need to build a 2x2 foundation trap and it just needs to be one wall high so 8 doorframes/walls, finally build 4 ramps for it to go in the trap. Hope this helps!

This dino is actually pretty good. People call it a temù spino, but it doesn’t deserve that! To tame this guy, you are going to need tranq arrows, crossbow/bow, and a large bear trap. 1. Aggro the baryonyx onto you. 2. place the trap and get the baryonyx stuck in it. 3. start shooting tranq arrows at it. 4. feed it raw fish meat, raw prime fish meat, or cooked fish meat or cooked fish meat. (WARNING: ANY OTHER TYPES OF MEAT DONT WORK)

You can also use the preferred kibble to tame these guys quick.

You can cage these, just like a Sarco.

A good way I learned to tame these is to put a large circle of bear traps on the ground, then shoot it from the opposite side. If it breaks out of one of the bear traps, it just runs into another

One of the easiest tames EVER. All you have to do is bola it and knock it out in a few shots. After that feed it fish and botta bing botta boom you have yourself a Baryonyx.

They can no longer be bola'd or picked with an Argy. Best way besides a bear trap is to kite it into a taming pen and then tranq it out. A 2x3 pen with doorframes and ramps works wonders for me.

These things, as said, are incredible! They are good both on land and in the water, they are recommended for almost all the caves and only need simple fish meat to tame. A youtuber named Schwallbe has an insanely good one ( 10000 + hp 300 - 400 + atk. ) They are powerful, spawn singularly allowing you to tame it without dealing with others, and have, on brutal, high levels and lots of good stats to accompany it! Get one soon. Also, they can be bolaed, meaning you don’t really have to worry about getting hit! They take 5 - 7 arrows on easy, and yes, that may go up to something like 25 - 45 on brutal, but if we’re being honest, it’s worth the hustle.

On my first world, I got really into breeding Baryonyxs. By the mid-game section, I had over forty Baryonyxs. My favorite was Maloi, he was my first mutated.

The exact level that had tranq arrows I tamed one. Forget the traps, just shoot it from the max distance you can hit it from. Then it will run at you, and get close to you right when you hit it the next to last time, causing it to run away. This guide is for low level players, if you have tranq darts just fire away.

If you are a low level don’t go after them unless you have a bola or two high level carbos

Really good early-mid game dino for moving around best to get a few of them not just one, very easy to level up

When using fish meat it drops the taming bonus for every bite

ASA trap for Baryonyx. Place a single stone foundation, on three sides put up tall single doorways, on top of the middle doorway place a roof sloping up and over the foundation, in one of the side doorways place a door opening towards the open side, place a bear trap down and lure him through then open the door so it closes off the open side. Easy to tame. Pretty much all you have to do is lead it into a stone building and trank it from a distance don't forget to put wooden spikes around to keep raptors away
