For beginners you cN just bola them and whack em with a bat until their knocked out, I don't think it works on higher levels tho but it worked for me so it probably will work for you

these are very easy to tame just bola and traq its what i did on mobile

Better than rex and depending on the lvl they can out damage spinos and tail spin attack is very useful in sticky situations

Almost lost my frog trying to tame it but it was worth it. It absolutely destroys all sea creatures with its secondary attack

It was so easy for me to tame one of these things!

Here is how:

You will need:wooden doorframes(4), wooden foundation, wooden ramp, fish, narcotics (if needed), and fish meat, bow/crossbow/longneck/slingshot, tranq ammo/rocks.

Make a trap by placing wooden doorframe on all side on a wooden foundation. Then add a wood ramp in the direction pointing to it. Fire at will, when you hit it, wait for it to be close and run through the trap. Now that it is trapped, knock it out with what you brought with you. Next, shove fish meat down its throat and narcos if needed. Bipity bopping boom! Enjoy your baryonyx but do not let it destroy other dangerous creatures if low leveled. WAIT UNTIL IT IS A HIGH LEVEL 20 AND ABOVE. Your friend, Sully 🦀

They have a tail spin stun locking attack that only works when the Baryonyx is swimming

They are on every map except for Scorched Earth

They can only be picked up by a wyvern or quetzal

They are way better in the water than on land

Theres no reason not to tame a Bary, they are extremely usefull, from caving, to water taming and exploring, and just general traveling. They are very fast on land, being able to outrun raptors, carnos, even allos. When it comes to underwater capability, its got decent speed, being able to outrun all surface level water dinos, and being able to stun creatures as big as and smaller than a megalodon.

The only downside to the Baryonyx is its taming food, wich can be pretty annoying to find, unless youve got access to plenty of its kibble, wich comes from a pretty underused dino.

I encountered one earlier I tried to tame it but it killed me so I tried to kill it I was successful but it killed my dilo then I checked what food to use for tame

I was able to tame one in my first day with trank bow. It did kill me about 5 times but I still got it :) It is first time playing after a long rage quit, I have about 15-20 hours ont he game in total.

I would not recommend using bear traps. They only immobilize it for about thirty seconds. JUST STOP BEING LAZY AND BUILD A TRAP!!!!

Best tame for spelunking, pretty fast on land and in water, if it’s high enough in levels has decent stats as well, best overall!

Use crossbow and find a ledge but i dare you to 1v1 with fists (i did it after43 punches hp 10 from 245)

You caught it on bola and knock it with sling shot.

These are a pretty good tame and can be easily knocked out with tranq arrows. And that will run at you when you first shoot them but they don’t do a lot of damage. Just keep sooting at it and then soot it one or to times when it starts to run away and then feed it fish meat. And I recommend tameing near water.

Someone said you can't Bola these. I just bola one and knocked it out. I play mobile so it may only work on that platform

Guys u cant tame these guys with regular meat u gotta use fish meat lucky for u if u have a lot of fish meat and u can use that fish meat to tame a BARYONYX they r great swimmers I tamed it and it died to a spino 1 up = 1 rip for barry

This should have a weight reduction for anything fish related

Get at least 5 dilos and shoot it with something and your dilos will do all the work for you
