Make trap with stone walls well wood or thatch might work but still I would recommend stone walls you can knock it out with sling shot or tranq arrows

I tamed mine by freezing it with a snow owl and then putting Gates around it after that just knock it out find another one and breed for a mutation

Easy mid game tame. Find in small bays or swamps. You can bola it and shoot at it with tranq arrows from a bow or crossbow. It only eats fish so find saber tooth salmon and sickle prime fish off them. When tamed and saddled it makes for a relatively fast amphibious mount. Best use is raiding bases on coasts because you can go in the water and hunt fish to rapidly restore health. Overall a good powerful mid game mount.

Bola it this drill on the head with tranq arrows doest matter if it's with a bow or a crossbow but if it's over lever 50 then I recommend using a crossbow and I recommend using fish meat to tame.

Dude, taming this guy is super easy, they might seem like you can't trap them with a bola, but you can easily bola them, they usually stay near water, so you can just kill the fish in the water and use the raw fish meat to tame it

Hard to knock out find a low level

Great mount to get to and from hidden sea cave bases, they have enough health and the stun ability to fend of hungry megalodons, fast enough to get away from the nastier stuff like mosas and plesis if levelled a bit, no oxygen(idunno maybe they have gills or something), can get their favourite food source on the journey(fish), they also have decent health and damage, good tame if you like an aquatic lifestyle also equally good if you're just going down into the sea for resources.

Being near the water these guys are very easy to catch in a simple raft trap. There’s no reason you can’t get a high level one!

That creature is my best for caving in mobile.

These guys aren’t hard to tame just bola it, knock it out (they don’t have much torpor), then feed it fish meat, once tamed you have one of the best games in the game.

Great for water caves as it avoids everything it a hit and run type deal

This isn’t really a tip but one was camping in the water when I was level 5 and it 1 shot me next time I come level 8 still one shot me next time I come theres 2 so I don’t go over to them cuz I’ve learned that they 1 shot me next time I come lvl 11 or something there’s none but there’s one next to my base in the water I might tame it I’m lvl 16 or 17 now

Just tamed one of these guys, he is really good and I recommend taming one, mid game tame, I don’t have saddle for him yet but he protected me from diloposaurus

These are what I use to gather fish meat, which is useful since they, amongst other things such as otters, only eat fish meat. It’s a must have when breeding them and other fish eating dinos. Simply swim off shore, stun any megs/mantas, eat them as they sit there helplessly, rinse and repeat.

Almost every caves, strong creatures can't follow with you. Even some caves need to go underwater to get useful resorces or trophy and dossier and again, most creatures that you are familiar usually are not good at diving and swiming. If they are good at diving and swiming, they are too weak to travel caves and underwater's creatures.

But after baryonyx released, no worries. It will keep your safe and help combat from almost every normal cave's creatures(high lvl megalosaurus will tough at night times, but it is weak at day times and still your bary can tanking few sec if you spend points on health for most.), even it can dive into the water endlessly if you have preparation about oxygen, coldness or scuba and still it will help help your combat from underwater's creatures.

When not found in the swamp, easily tameable. Just lure it closer to your base, bola it, and tranq it.

For beginners you cN just bola them and whack em with a bat until their knocked out, I don't think it works on higher levels tho but it worked for me so it probably will work for you
