What are tips for baryonyx? Tips and strategies for baryonyx in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
Hey hey beginner don’t be scared if you see this than your in luck if you have 2 bola and fish meat than bola it and than tame it I think you already know that your in luck for reading this tip
Honestly this is the Best tame i've ever had.i currently have 3 rex.spino tapejara and argy. But i have to say this this guy is the best dino ark ever made. hands down.mine could outrun a raptor on land.almost megapiranha on water..also this medium shaped dino helped me overcome my fear for caves.whether its artho or titanboa. Due to its high torpor enduring and decent weight and melee damage. Cave huntings were easier for me.. Until i lost him on by mistakely jumping into Lava In LAVA CAVE. Will miss u alot Barry Allen.
TIP:I DONT CARE IF U R ON EARLY OR MID GAME.TAMING THIS BEAST IS A MUST.JUST REMEMBER THEY ONLY EAT FISH SO AFTER KNOCKING HIM OUT GO TO THE NEAREST RIVER TO FETCH SOME FISH MEAT.
~thank you if u have read this much~

Very useful creature, I knocked out three argies a Rex, and an archaeopteryx while on its back on the mountains by the redwoods, I also killed a Rex with it (it is only level 38) and 15-20 raptors and sabertoothes within probably 5-10 minutes. If you are wondering why I knocked out three argies read my depressing tips under newest, Argentavis. My Baryonx is my best tame on this profile. FYI if you want to tame a Rex make sure you kill any Dino’s it aggros first. A deodicoris (I know I misspelled it) killed my knocked out Rex.
Bola's work on these, can tame anywhere even in water, prime fish meat is best so take a fishing rod and all the necessary equipment needed, easy tame
Absolute must have game for beginners like me. One killed my para, so I reloaded the save and headed over with some tranq arrows and fish meat. Perched on a rock and he was out fast. Starve tamed and it was pretty easy. Only difficulty was keeping the dilos away. Afterwards I was thinking it’d be just another average beginner tame- but it wasnt. Toxin, my bary, is a real trooper. I once took our houseboat into the swamps, just messin around. He took out three sarcos and another bary. Later took on a meg and three mantas at once. Seriously, best thing ever.
Warning do not approach, they are faster, stronger, and I’m positive that they can smell your fear, don’t go in the water with one unless it’s yours
In ark mobile these things can be bola.
If you're thirsty , don't have a Water Container with you? See a Baryonyx in the River next to you?
RATHER DIE OFDEHYDRATION THAN DRINKING OUT OF THIS KILLER WATER!
Normally found roaming the swamps, watch your back as it will always have gator friends or snake buddy's near by
My happiness was short-lived.
They can get out of the cage, atleast without a special angle that i did not discover or prove existence.

Sorry for the hopes
YOU CANNOT PICK THEM UP WITH ARGIES, I tried and ended up getting dismounted due to touching water and nearly got killed. Lure them onto land and either trap them or go ontop of a rock ad they are insanely fast. Starve them down and feed fish meat.
They usually spawn at low level... DO NOT try to pick them up from the water!!! They will kill you and your mount. Wait until they come op for land
You can cage these, just like a Sarco.

If you see an iguanadon then make sure it’s not one of these
These are probably the best mounts to use while taming basilosaurus. The basilosaurus usually has a large group of stingrays around them. I have found one without the usual mob surrounding it, but it’s still a good idea to a baryonyx along for safety. What makes them helpful during the taming process is their ability to stun multiple creatures and then to dispatch them quickly. To do so I think you have to tap the left trigger(this is for Xbox)to do its stun attack. After stunning the rays you just bite them and swim to the basilosaurus and passive tame it.
