If u bite something that is neutral it will turn passive I haven't tried it on aggressive things

Avoid fighting these up close if you can, their blood is acidic & will quickly melt through whatever armor you're wearing & whatever sharp object you're poking them with. They also have an acid spit attack that will break your gear even if you're riding a mount. Bring a crappy set of hide with you since it can easily be fixed

How to tame an Arthro without getting attacked:

1.) Find an Arthro.

2.) use your (Ascendant) Shield (wood) or you can just use a raptor/Baryonyx/Direwolf.

3.) go to a water area and jump on it.

4.) let the arthro come close and make a contact (as soon as the arthro touches you, it won't be able to attack and becomes passive, which means you don't need bug repellant or Ghillie set).

5.) Feed it with spoiled meat (I'd recommend you use a 10x taming boost).

And there you have it, you've tamed an Arthro.

This method works in all difficulities (Easy, Normal, Hard, Brutal).

I encountered one in the south cave,I saw 2 of these fast creeps.I thought my tamed raptor could not kill 2.So I ran to a safer place and going to prepare for attack.

Everyone will think the yeti cave is hard but if you get one of these with a saddle when you mount it nothing attacks you unless you dismount or you hit them first.

Picking it up with an argy and attacking it hurts the argy.

They are really good spoiled meet harvesters

Nearly one hits flack armor good for pvp and raids but is slow and has low ish HP, carry one of these for raids after taking down the turrets.

Don’t pay attention to any of these rip unless they suggest to tame it in deep water

don’t melee this, use a longneck and aim for its face (3x more damage). The reason they do so much damage is because whenever it’s touched (including grazing it slightly and hitting it with a sword) it does insane damage. died in 3 hits to this guy with 5k total armor and 300 hp.

You can easily tame one on foot without Ghillie or bug repellant. You just need to kill everything else then back away till the music stops! If it’s in a good position behind a wall or around a corner you can creep up to it! Might take a few tries but I’ve done it several time hugging the cave wall peeking around the corner at its face! Actually very easy to tame.

You can tame this by dropping them in kinda deep water and then in will become passive tame knock-out tame wont work

All you need to do is build a 1x1 building three stories high (doesn’t matter what material) and drop the arthropluera in there. It will take a few tries, but then you can feed it spoiled meat without it aggroing on you.

If you go into a cave with these do not bring your best armor unless it is very easy to repair forgot and had to kill hundreds of penguins for pollimer wasted a whole day of ark.
