How to tame one easy : get a pteranodon with saddle, get icthy with saddle, find nearby leed, and get tranq arrows (35 or 40 maybe.) step 1: mount your icthy, and scrape meat off of a leed until you get prime fish meat ( one leed is in front of my base, one is near me, one is at herbivore island, one is half way to herbi island, for me.) step two: get 35 or 40 tranq arrows ( you might miss and you need alot to knock it out)

step three: fly to red peak on pteranodon (make sure its attack target) find a flying, solo argy. step 4: aim and shoot at it, when it flys at you its even better the target gets wider step 5: once its unconsious put prime in its inventory step 6: there is your very own argy!

I don't know why but if I hit the head the damage is the same as the body. Someone can help me pls?

Hit it on a flyer then make it follow you just behind you to a safe place then knock it out the feed it primes and you are set

Easy trap for argy! Materials: 3 giant door Gateways and 2 gates. You can use wood or Stone, but know that wood is risky and It can escape. Place The Gateways in a LINE and keep a medium space between tem, only The sufficient for your ptero to pass through. Then, place The 2 gates in both slides, keeping The middle free and open one of The gates. Go get an argy's agro and push It to your trap. Escape by one of The sides and quickly Go close The open gate and start tranquilizing It with darts or arroz, but keep an eye on The argy's health. Good Lucky! Dont need to bring narcos If using prime meat or raw mutton. Superior Kibble is recommended, but I usually use prime or raw mutton because The level gain is almost The same.

These are one of the best early to mid game tames on the island. These are relatively easy to tame but i will show you my favorite way to tame them.

first you should make some stone gateways and place them in a tunnelshaped structure,then place two dinosaur gates on both ends, make sure its just big enough so you can sneak through the cracks in between the gateway and the argy cant . next lire it in and knock it out, i reccomend using prime meat to tame it as its pretty easy to get and it is a good taming food. and then ride off into the sunset with your flying dinosaur chicken. :)

I just use 38 stone pillars ,9 stone ceilings ,stone Dino gateway and gate ,crossbow trank arrows and it is lvl 209

If you find one and you have a quetz with a platform saddle, Put the quetz on passive and start shooting the argie. At some point it will fly off and if it is high enough fly below it and shoot it 1-2 times and try to catch it if done right you can takes your tame anywhere!

I’ve heard lots of people say you need a trap to tame this guy but all you really have to go is put like 3-10 tranq arrows into it depending on its level

I tamed a low level one but it's easy for every level. First get 3 Dino gates and 2 gateway. Place one gateway and be ready with the other. Let one Aggro on you, run in the gate, use the other gateway and boom. Feed it with every type of meat you have, some narcos/biotox.

Taming these Guys are easy, they are very slow, I tamed one by just waking around in a circle and firing tranq darts, you could also sit on top of a Turtle or stego and have then tank the hits while you fire darts at the argentavis

to the person wuo is stuck at a volcano and does not know bout the argy being bolable the ans is no. also if u want to know what dino is bolable open dododex and search in capabilities

Best way to tame these

Build a Taming Raft Dino Door+Cage with Windows to shoot through

Tame a pteranodon

Look for some low level Argis to kill for Prime meat

Only try and tame level 130 and above

Lure the Argi to the boat by letting it hit you ever 15 seconds or so

Trap it in the cage

Shoot it with a crossbow (narc arrows)

Feed it the prime

Bing bang boom there ya go

After that just fly around to exporters notes to get leveled fast and take down some brontos.

If you don’t have an argentavis, make a trap!

1. Build a chicken coop or a lamppost like trap

2. Find this majestic creature

3. Lure it in

4. Block the creature so it can’t get out

5. Knock out or kill!

And boom! You completed hunt: argentavis prusit or you just got your first argentavis!

If your on scorched earth use one of the moth things to distract+ slow down with their fart

To tame this you need dinosaur gates about 6 and 2 of the door parts leave space between the dino gates just for you to escape run around the back then close the last door then use your darts and tame using raw meat or kibble

I don’t know if people know this but you don’t really need stone gateways you can use wood the highest level I used wood for was 180

Greta because they have reduced weight for recourses . To tame one, get a pteranodon to hit it but stay a safe distance. You could also get 4-5 dinosaur gateways (stone works best) and get two doors to trap it, and make sure to spread out the gateways so you can still hit it with tranqs. Feed it (prime meat is best for taming effectiveness early on) and maybe get a fully imprinted one to get the stat boost effects and make your travels easier!

If you are playing on single player (like me) and have the difficulty turned down, then you are most likely going to find a level one. After you tame it, you will want to put all of the points into stamina and wait. Let others see
