To tame get it angry. Once it's close enough then kick it over and over with a equus. Make sure your equus has good health to cope with the damage. Once it starts flying away shoot it with a few tranq arrows, and Bam! knocked out and ready to feed.

Taming these Guys are easy, they are very slow, I tamed one by just waking around in a circle and firing tranq darts, you could also sit on top of a Turtle or stego and have then tank the hits while you fire darts at the argentavis

I just use 38 stone pillars ,9 stone ceilings ,stone Dino gateway and gate ,crossbow trank arrows and it is lvl 209

I don’t know if people know this but you don’t really need stone gateways you can use wood the highest level I used wood for was 180

to the person wuo is stuck at a volcano and does not know bout the argy being bolable the ans is no. also if u want to know what dino is bolable open dododex and search in capabilities

Best way to tame these

Build a Taming Raft Dino Door+Cage with Windows to shoot through

Tame a pteranodon

Look for some low level Argis to kill for Prime meat

Only try and tame level 130 and above

Lure the Argi to the boat by letting it hit you ever 15 seconds or so

Trap it in the cage

Shoot it with a crossbow (narc arrows)

Feed it the prime

Bing bang boom there ya go

After that just fly around to exporters notes to get leveled fast and take down some brontos.

If you find one and you have a quetz with a platform saddle, Put the quetz on passive and start shooting the argie. At some point it will fly off and if it is high enough fly below it and shoot it 1-2 times and try to catch it if done right you can takes your tame anywhere!

You have to get a pterodon to tame this creature. Once you do for a high level you will need a trap and for a low level you can just run around and shoot it with your crossbow. For the trap you need at least four regular stone Dino gates and two doors. Then you just place them in a line facing eachother and place a door on either end of the line. Then leave one door closed and lead your argy in though one door and run out of there and close the other door behind your fast. They also have very low torpor so you can knock them out fairly quick.

Greta because they have reduced weight for recourses . To tame one, get a pteranodon to hit it but stay a safe distance. You could also get 4-5 dinosaur gateways (stone works best) and get two doors to trap it, and make sure to spread out the gateways so you can still hit it with tranqs. Feed it (prime meat is best for taming effectiveness early on) and maybe get a fully imprinted one to get the stat boost effects and make your travels easier!

If you are playing on single player (like me) and have the difficulty turned down, then you are most likely going to find a level one. After you tame it, you will want to put all of the points into stamina and wait. Let others see

Can’t pick up the same stuff on mobile

U-P-V-O-T-E! Gotta get rid of the old school kibbles... it’s messing everyone up thinking they can use the old ones. IT DOES NOT WORK!

I like to use a pt to tame these, if you use a pt you only need 1 stone foundation 3 stone walls a stone ramp and a stone door the pt will fly right through it as the argy is chasing you through it, it will get stuck on the double doorway wall which you want on the front and sides and before the argy flies out open the door on the side and boom its stuck. I typically make two of these traps to get a high level male and female then make air conditioners to start breeding only keeping the females until I have 1 male 7 females then pair that with the oviraptor and set them on mating to get eggs for superior kibble

Everyone says you need an argy trap to knock one out but they aren’t actually that fast in the wild, yesterday i tamed a lvl 120 without a trap but I would recommend having at least 150% movement speed just to be safe.

There are ALOT of argies on Dead Island (aka Carno Island) it’s practically overopulated with them! But be careful, carno island is very dangerous, so you might wanna bring a quetz or something to carry them to a safer area

Ok not the best here are some methods of tame and kill

1.come to spawn zone(bring a friend or if you are appolo don't bother)

2.have your buddy aggro the argy and run in circles(no speed levels required)

3.then shoot argy with tranq

4.Build saddle and tame argy with meat or fish or prime or kibble I tame with fish and prime I'm to lazy to make kibble.

5.fly on the wings of hell

(Or if you want to hunt do all steps before 3 and Tous what ever killing weapon you want)

try to get a pterodactyl or parasaur (easy to tame) then hit one with a bow or Cross bow and fly somewhat near your base and just run backwards while shooting it in the head then boom you have an argentavis👍

I was taming one of these and a pack of hienadons came running at me. So I led them to a stego waited till they were close and punched the stego. The stego hit them and the two started fighting, so I went back to my argent and finished taming it.

taming pen of pillars 2 high with a dino gate and ceilings is all you need. use a ptera or just run between the pillars. fast and easy trap, enjoy your new argy
