taming pen of pillars 2 high with a dino gate and ceilings is all you need. use a ptera or just run between the pillars. fast and easy trap, enjoy your new argy

Ok not the best here are some methods of tame and kill

1.come to spawn zone(bring a friend or if you are appolo don't bother)

2.have your buddy aggro the argy and run in circles(no speed levels required)

3.then shoot argy with tranq

4.Build saddle and tame argy with meat or fish or prime or kibble I tame with fish and prime I'm to lazy to make kibble.

5.fly on the wings of hell

(Or if you want to hunt do all steps before 3 and Tous what ever killing weapon you want)

try to get a pterodactyl or parasaur (easy to tame) then hit one with a bow or Cross bow and fly somewhat near your base and just run backwards while shooting it in the head then boom you have an argentavis👍

If it's a low level its an easy tame. Knocked out and tamed a low level (something like lvl 12) with 3-4 tranq arrows. I used a crossbow.

To that one dude who used ancient Amber's to buy soothing balms. Tip for you dude just go for the artifacts and do the save trick to manipulate the reward that the artifact tribute will give you to get 10x soothing balms

easiest tame method: 3 gateframes 2 gates (doesnt matter which material), build them in a about 1m distance (so it cant fit) then choose one gate to be open and one closed, so just place 1 gate, then lure the argy into the 3 gateframes and place the gate at the outer gateframe. tranq it and before its knocked, place a sleeping bag, let it kill you, tranq it dead and you can instantly tame it because it lost all of its food.

All you have to do is wait for it to have the green cloud around

It then you have to ko it then you can starve tame it

That is how I got mine.

Once you have one knocked out you can use nearby Argents as a source of prime meat for a quick tame

(Mobile) I just got one of these at like lvl 45, here’s how I did it!

I used a ptera to aggro it by attacking, and then I simply lured it to a safe location, where I tranqed it out. Seriously, this method is almost too easy. All you need to do is peck at the argy if it loses interest, and you can take it anywhere! I only had the willpower to lure into a relatively safe patch of grass near the redwoods, but with enough skill you could probably do more than that.

I suggest using a decoy Dino wether it being a tank or just a Dino you don’t want and bring a second Dino if your decoy dies.you can also make traps for them yt is where you can find those traps. These tips helped me get my argent I hope it can get y’all one too <3

I like to use a pt to tame these, if you use a pt you only need 1 stone foundation 3 stone walls a stone ramp and a stone door the pt will fly right through it as the argy is chasing you through it, it will get stuck on the double doorway wall which you want on the front and sides and before the argy flies out open the door on the side and boom its stuck. I typically make two of these traps to get a high level male and female then make air conditioners to start breeding only keeping the females until I have 1 male 7 females then pair that with the oviraptor and set them on mating to get eggs for superior kibble

The Lord of all Birds..has saved me more times than can count. Very noble and magnificent creature and can haul the weight of the world on its wings. To tame just build a bird cage as tall as a stone gate way (not behemoth) and about 4 foundations size. Remember to put a ceiling and the walls should be just door frames not solid walls so you can escape after you lead it into the cage. Then once its in the cage and you escape through the door frame, go around to the front of the cage and close the door. Once trapped it just takes about 30-45 well placed tranq arrows to the head or body and it will be KO'd, even level 150. Get some raw or prime meat to tame it. You may want to leave the area for about 15 -18 minutes and then return once you found enough prime meat to feed it.. since it would be hungry by then and ready to eat. Its torpor drains very slow so dont worry about narcotic.

So you went to the snow biome or carnivore island to tame an argentavis but your problem is that there is too many hostile dinos in the area where you found the argy you want. Well there's an easy solution. Just lure it away from that dangerous place and bring it to your base. They start to attack you once you get too close so use this to you advantage. Make it aggro and get it to follow you, use a pteronodon in doing this. You don't have to sprint while flying on your pteronodon as the argy's sprinting speed is the same as a pteronodon's walk speed (while flying). Then bring it where it's safe and knock it out with tranq arrows. Then just feed it with either normal or prime meat and wait, make sure you have narcotic so it doesn't wake up. Congrats you have tamed an argy and you didn't have to watch one of your tames die to a random carnivore.

Use traq arrow slowly if its not a a good level like 1-20

This isnt really a Taming Tip tho it is a Good tip. If your trying to hatch a Argy egg or just any egg But dont have a Ac Unit then go to the snow area(This Only works if there is a snow area Like on the Island) And set up a little campsite there(Kinda like a small house or base) and fill it with campfires. Light all the campfires and the Egg wont be to hot. This might not be for everyone but it worked for me

If you are trying to tame one kill a creature (parasaur) and traq it while it’s distracted by the body once granted I advise using kibble if your a late game player (or prime meat)

Dude I LITERALLY TAMED IT WITH only raw meat ( first you have to kill any animal near it and when it will release green aura you have to tanq it it will take max 6 to 7 arrows if it is low20 to 30 then when it knocked out then put all of raw meat you have the wallha you have a argentravis in few seconds

Tip for new players - argentavis are good flyers and they can carry 60% of dinos in ark island and best way to tame them is to first have a good health mount more then 2k health and u can use weapons on them and keep shooting them until they run and when they run u can even use longneck rifle now or u can just sit on tapejara and set argy its target and keep hiting it till it gets knock like i tamed 4 argy in my early 60 days with a 4k health sarco and after 27 days i had a op argy mutation they are good and best mount until u tame Griffins

Really easy to tame since a level 30 takes 8 tranq darts. It’s saddle is a mobile smithy. They do commonly spawn near the mountains, in the redwoods and in the snow. Just be careful if your doing mountains because Gigas can spawn. I find Gigas at Fars Peak
