Stories Tips

What are some stories about the argentavis? Memorable argentavis stories, wild encounters, and fan fiction.
I had an argy named cookie she was my favorite mount. She has died once and I raised her from the dead. Together we could take down Alpha raptors and Alpha Carnos. I wanted to tame a quetzal so I was going to use cookie for it. Right after I jumped off a griffin came and killed her it hurts me so much that I could of prevented her second death but waiting a few seconds. Rest In Peace cookie I hope I can raise you up again.
Yay toriel is back I am so happy for the owner of toriel I feel the pain they felt bc my arg called strawberry milk died when I was trapping a Giga to tame it(I did tame the Giga) then I went off of strawberry milk then the Giga killed me and strawberry milk was hit as well so she went and tried to kill the Giga and died she was my fav Dino but revived her :)
#Toriel. I feel honored for u. And I hope Toriel never flys of mysteriously again. And if she does, u know what to do :). At least,..if she doesn’t die th next time she does. IF she does though. Is it ok if I make a poem about Toriel for his/her honoredness? I’d feel grateful if I can.
Thanks for reading. I actually really really feel honored for u. 😊😊😊

A song of compys and gigas (chap8)
Bob is nervous. He wants to ask Charlotte out. Only problem Is he has never asked anyone out before. There is only a week left until confederate forces will attack INVs stronghold. But bob focuses on the task at hand. How does he ask Charlotte to go on a date with him? He begins to strategize his plan but then he gets a nock on his door. To his suprise it’s Charlotte. “ hey just wanted to remind you that there is a meeting tomorrow at noon.” She says. “ ok” bob replies. Charlotte turns around to leave but then bob calls after her. “ hey Charlotte!” She turns back around. “Yes?” She asks. “Uhhh I was wondering if you would like to maybe go out on a dodo hunt later on. To discuss plans and stuff...” bob proposes. “Ok sounds good to me!” Charlotte answers back. She then turns and walks back to her raft. Bob is shocked at what just happened. He just asked Charlotte out and she said yes! Now all bob has to do is not screw up this date...

How I tamed a level 145 Argy in ARK Nintendo Switch in Ragnarok
Chapter Number One
How I found and trapped it
So I flew to Argy lake (the lake with ridges and of course Argys)
and saw a level 145 Female Argy so I went back to my 1st base and made 4 wooden dino gate frames and 2 wooden dino gates then flew back to Argy lake and went on a big ridge and put the dino gate frames and dino gates and flew right in front of it's face to aggro it and did so I flew to the big ridge and tried and tried and tried and tried to get it in but instead it fights my pteradon (thankfully my pteradon was a high level and no one died or had serious injuries) and I tell it to go on the other side of the ridge and it did and shot her to follow me and trap it.
Chapter Number Two
How I tamed and used the Argy
I shot it 20+ times in the head and knocked it out and put 120 raw meat and 100 narcotics in her inventory and watched a 20 min video and tamed it and put it at my 1st base and hunted like 10000000000
Turtles and 1 Horseshoecrab thing to get the materials for the saddle
and hunted down every thing I saw to get keratin and stone and more stuff to make a lot of stuff that you can only get with high levels all thanks to my Argy.
#Prayfortoriel hi freind I heard u lost ur argy I’ll pray for u and ur birb.Hope u find her soon-but if ur on mobile u can go to ur tame spot click on ur argy/argys name and click request then ur argy will spawn to u (if it’s still alive) but u will lose ur stuff that was in ur birds inventory BUT again you’ll get her back.Anyways good luck on finding toriel (srry if I spelled ur bird’s name wrong )
Chapter One ~
The wind howled, roaring louder as the Argies fought against the raging storm. Their feathers billowed and their wings struggled against the wind.
They dove down, the snow flying past their beaks as the ground came into view. They flew down, beside the trees and wove between them, skillfully dodging the branches.
The wind began to die down, and the Argies continued their pursuit Eastward. The snow covered cliffs turned into jungles, and finally they dived into a valley, the Hidden Lake.
The sun slowly dropped, inching away beneath the ocean, and the sky turned indigo, striped with clouds.
“Again, who are we waiting for?” A brown Argy asked. “I can’t say.. But I hear they’ll help us, maybe we can make an alliance.” The largest of them said. “And what happens if they double cross us?” He demanded. “It won’t. They won’t. But you know what would happen if they did, Marsh.”
Rustling came from one of the entries to the lake. “They’re here..” A group of raptors, maybe eight of them, walked out into the fading light. “Blackbeak.” One said as it walked towards the Argies. “Scar.” The bird tilted its head to him and glanced at his pack.
“You came to make an deal, didn’t you? Well. Will you take it or not?” The raptor asked, his eyes gleaming. “You take the Northwestern cliffs, and we won’t attack. Right?” The Argentavis asked. “And we, protect your perimeters.” The raptor said.
The argy looked back at the faces behind him, some shook their heads, others nodded. “Deal.” Blackbeak said, and watched the raptors shuffle around. “Pleasure, doing business with you.” The raptor grinned, showing off its teeth.
They ran away, darting back through the entry.
“You shouldn’t have done that.” Marsh said glaring at Blackbeak. “They’re only helping, what could go wrong?” He said. “Have you seen how many clans the raptors supposedly make deals with? The Terror Birds, the Sarcos? And I bet they stabbed them in the back!” Marsh shook out his wings, muttering under his breath.
Blackbeak considered, wondering if Marsh was right. “Ok everyone, We’re heading back.” His voice quivering. “Lets go.” He launched into the air, as the others followed behind. Blackbeak turned around, and saw the raptors running back towards the jungle.
Squirrely~ Next is in raptor section! :)
The time Archie the first died
A long time ago in 2023, I had a level 153 argetavis named Archie. I was flying around, killing animals for hide and meat, when out of no where, a raptor kicks me off my Archie, and jumps on me, and killed me.
Now there was tones of Griffin's around at the time so I was very scared
10 seconds later I saw the message *your level 153 argetavis killed a level 150 griffin. I was pleased, so I grabbed by level 245 pteradon and flew over where the raptor kicked me off. I found my Archie flying in the sky attacking a level 200 griffin. I thought the griffin was out numbered, think again. 30 seconds later me and my Archie were dead, my p5erado was holding on for dear lifez 5 seconds later, your level 245 pteradon was killed my level 200 griffin.
The end 😭😭😁
Playing ark ascended and I found a level 130, knocked it out. Started to starve and headed back to the base as it was a minute there and back.
Keep in mind l, I left it on an unaccessible hill with no creatures on it, as I remove any that were spawned in.
Just as i return the game spawned it 4 raptors and it killed my soon to be new argy.
Luckily in the same area I found a level 140 but this time I knocked it out on ground level. That would have been fine, but when nature calls and it's diarrhea, you can't wait. Made it though that no issue, but as I wash my hands I hear the sound of a cat is attacking my argy.
I ended up getting this argy, but with 18.6% taming effectiveness because you can't pick up sabertooths with an argy on ascended. I know good and damn well that you can pick up a sabertooth with an argy. Pissed!
So I'm new to ark and I didnt really think about it before finding one. That I needed tranq darts/arrows and not spears- And also didn't know that their were "traps". So I found a Rlly pretty solid white one. Got it rlly low then I through the last spear and it died :,) I couldn't find another in my area for the past 2 weeks then I found a Rlly weird colored one. And now I have a Random colored argy with a hot pink mohawk :D
Ahhhhhhhhhhh
Ally’s Hope
Chapter 8
“So, where do you think we could find something that’ll tell us about the boss?” Asked Rorin, “huh? Oh I have no clue, I’ve never been in the wild before, but I was trying to go to the snow biome” replied Ally, starting to get off topic “WHAT DO YOU MEAN NEVER BEEN IN THE WILD!?” Called Lynx with wide eyes “I was born in a human tribe” said Ally with a smile on her face. Ally started to hear a sort of hum, “do you guys hear that?” Asked Ally “hear what?” Responded Renegade, “it’s like a humming...” Ally got up and started to walk off the cliff, she glided to the bottom “where are you going!?” Called Renegade as he and the others jumped off the cliff to chase after her, Ally didn’t seem to notice them, her eyes seemed to be almost glowing. They walked and walked, for maybe an hour, until they came up to a pool of suspicious purple liquid “what is that?” Asked Lynx, no answer came, all of a sudden, Ally jumped in, Lynx, not thinking followed. Lynx opened her eyes, she was probably dead, she needed to stop doing this. Lynx looked around to see Ally walking, they where in a cave, Lynx looked up, the purple liquid floating above her. Lynx walked over to the edge of the cliff, it was deep, the hole seemed to go in forever, she couldn’t see the bottom, she walked along the ledge, following Ally, until Ally stopped and shook her head. “Huh? Where am I” asked Ally, confused “that’s what i should be asking you” said Lynx. Ally and Lynx looked up, there where runes and paintings all over the cave walls “I think I found what we need” said Ally, still confused and dazed. Lynx ran back to the purple liquid and looked up at it “Rorin, Renegade! It’s safe come down here!” Yelled Lynx, moments later Renegade and Rorin fell through the purple liquid, landing on top of each other, Rorin growled and Renegade got off from on top of him. “What is it now?” Asked Rorin, getting up “we found it, follow me” replied Lynx an ran back to where Ally was waiting by the runes, Renegade and Rorin followed. Rorin looked up at the runes “it says-“, Rorin was cut off, “it says, the one cold as ice, the water barley runs, rules the snow, the one hot as day, heats the earth, leads the sands, the one that keeps the sanctuary, flows with life, protects the forest, the king leading his children, the ice princess, the forest prince, the desert prince, the mother hidden from time, control these lands while the world is on the brink of extinction, the one born to fly, along with the rest, will tame the heirs, the heirs freed from corruption, owing a debt, will assist in defeat against the king, as then hero’s will pass to another world. For a titan of ice a hundred hearts corrupt, ten claws of therizino, and ten sails from the spinos, along with an artifact of voids. The titan of desert request a hundred hearts corrupt, ten layers of sarco skin, and ten wyvern talons of fire, combined with a chaos artifact. The forest titan craves a hundred hearts from the corrupt, ten tyrannosaurus arms, and ten vertebra from sauropods, with an artifact of growth. The king requires more, a tooth from the strongest of Rex, the alpha, three hundred hearts corrupt as its own, twenty hearts of the biggest, a giga if you will, twenty sails from the spinos, twenty ounces of snake venom, and a trophy given by each of his heirs. The terminal of the heirs shown by the towering obelisks, the Kings in the forbidden zone, but beware, your fate awaits you.” Finished Ally “you know how to read runes?!” Asked Renegade “um, no, I just know what it says” replied Ally “it’s all correct” added Rorin “well, let’s start with the easiest and then we can use that heir to help us get tribute for the others” finished Lynx. “let’s get what we can easily and then we can defeat the ice titan, or at least it has the easiest tribute” said Rorin “that’s all good and well, but we need to figure out how to get out of here” reminded Renegade “Follow me!” Requested Ally as she walked as fast as she could back to the purple liquid. Ally started to climb up the wall and through the purple liquid, they all followed, Rorin having the most trouble, and Lynx the least. Once everyone was out they left to go back to their cliff, where they would determine where to go four tribute.
I have to do SO MUCH research for this episode and the next few😑😑

She wasn’t about to die without a fight, she Fought the griffins where I couldn’t help. I killed one and she.. she fought one somewhere I couldn’t help her, She Died while still putting up a good fight. I made her a grave after that
The Arks: Over Heaven (by Ben)
Chapter 32: The Dex
Clack!
The door to Warren’s apartment swung open and a sheriff with tired eyes stepped inside. He flicked the switch and the lights hummed to life, lighting the room up. Closing the door behind him, he walked through a door frame and into his bedroom, which had a single, lone bed that could fit one. He reached into his breast pocket and pulled out a book, tossing it onto the bed. Unbeknownst to Sam and Detective Darren, Warren had snuck out that mysterious book after Darren and Sam left the office. It was a simple task, really.
He opened up his wardrobe, switched his uniform out to a pair of pajamas, and snatched the book off the bed, walking off into the living room and plopping down onto the couch. Warren looked up at a stand on the wall. There was a picture of Warren, Sam, and their son Samuel together. Everyone was happy. Sam was carrying a small baby in her arms. He tore his eyes away from the picture and looked at the book that lay in his hands.
The book was called “Tales of Evolution and Survival”, and there was an emblem of a strange diamond-shaped implant on the front cover. It was old and torn and the cover was as hard as a turtle’s shell. A hardcover book, it felt rigid and leathery to the touch, as if it was made of an animal’s hide.
“So who wrote this book?” Warren wondered as he began to flip through the old, yellow pages. The last page of the book, which typically featured who the author was, didn’t have anything except a list of people and the words, “Thanks”, at the top.
“Huh,” Warren said as he looked at the list. Many of the names were odd and unrecognizable. They were almost like usernames from a video game. But one name was separated from the others that stuck out to him.
“I give my biggest thanks to Bob, my biggest and best friend ever! Without your tips, your thoughts, and your stories I would have never made it to where I am now.”
“Interesting names,” Warren thought as he glanced over them, “Isn’t Bob the name of the Vice President? Probably just a coincidence.”
Even if the book was referring to the Vice President, it wasn’t like he would have enough time for interrogation. Neither would an opportunity arise for him at the moment as on the ride home from Terran High he had heard on the radio that Vice President Bob himself would be going out on leave to the Western States of America for a meeting with their president.
But what piqued Warren’s interest the most was the “Dododex”. What exactly was that?
“I should search that up, along with the title of this book. Perhaps I can find the author that way,” Warren thought. But before he could do any of that he still needed to study the rest of the book. He flipped to the first page and noticed the table of contents only contained four “parts” to it. There was also a fifth part, but when Warren flipped to that page he noticed that it was the Thank You page.
“Where is the fifth part?” Warren asked himself. He flipped to the previous page and noticed the last few words at the bottom of the page.
To Be Continued.
The book had never finished.
Warren jumped back to the previous few parts, which seemed to be in fine condition. Although Warren noticed that the seams at these parts of the book were unusually off. It was as if they were stitched together manually.
Warren looked up at the ceiling, and pondered and pondered. What could any of it have meant? Most of these details didn’t matter whatsoever. For all it could have been, this book was just a book that the principal of Terran High really enjoyed reading, and there was nothing to dissect there.
But he still needed to try.
“If I can’t get a lead with one perspective, I will with another. I must find out who wrote this book,” Warren realized. He slammed the book shut and placed it on the coffee table. He got up from the couch and walked over to his desk. A slim, white laptop lay on the desk, produced by technology giant Element Corp.
Opening the laptop up, he fired it up and opened up his browser, gingerly typing “Dododex” on the bar and clicking the enter button. Instantaneously a few thousand results popped up, filling his eyes with thousands of icons of strange egg emblems. He moved his finger along the touchpad and clicked on the link that was most unique. Dododex “Stories”.
Upon clicking the site, his screen faded a teal blue, with a green bar at the top. There was a strange message at the top of the screen.
“Thank you so much for sticking with me the entire ride. I’ll publish my book soon, and you’ll be on the thank you page. I don’t think I’ll use this platform very often now that my story is finally finished… But I know yours hasn’t. I know we'll meet again some day.”
The message was signed off by someone named ‘Moon’. And there was another message replying to her.
“No, I should be thanking YOU, Moon. Your story was phenomenal and I really loved talking to you about the recent chapter or what I thought about the characters and everything. It has been such a journey, a journey three years in the making. So thank you, for the memories you’ve brought me. Thank you for giving us your story, The Obelisk.”
This message was signed off by someone named ‘Biggest Fan’.
“Well this isn’t very relevant,” Warren whispered to himself. He looked at the top right hand corner of the message and saw that the messages had been posted on May 17, 2023, which was four years ago.
“I wonder if there’s any recent messages,” Warren wondered as he scrolled to the bottom of the page. Warren immediately noticed there was an option to go to the previous page. He clicked it and immediately a few more messages popped up on the screen. These ones had been sent a week or two ago.
“Hey, does anybody here know how to tame the Carcharodontosaurus? Me and my nephews have been trying everything with it! Knocking it out with tranquilisers, walking up to passively feed it (although that ended in my death), and even throwing grenades at it. It seems like a messaging site to me, even if it’s inactive… someone please help! - Pilot.”
“Hey Pilot. Don’t worry you’re not alone. I’ve always been here, waiting for someone to message. Even if this isn’t about a story, taming the Carcharodontosaurus is an easy process. All you must do is earn its respect. This beast has a fondness for bloodlust and rage. Murder is its middle name. Slay creatures and earn its respect. Then it will cooperate with you. - Moon.”
“Thanks, Moon. Me and my nephews are going to tame this bad boy soon, the school year is almost over for one of them and one’s even graduating… so I at least want to tame it before he’s off to college. - Pilot.”
“It’s not a problem, Pilot. If you have any further questions, I’ll be here, waiting. - Moon.”
“Looks like that name popped up again. But they’re talking about it as if it’s some sort of game… What even is the point of this website?” Warren asked himself. Warren didn’t know, but if there was one thing he DID know, it was that Tales of Evolution and Survival was directly tied with this enigmatic website. And there were people still here.
And one of those people had also written a story.
“Surely this mysterious ‘Moon’ knows about whatever this Tales of Evolution and Survival book is. I should send a message asking where I can find it. I will find out who my author is soon enough,” Warren thought. He began digging around the website, trying to figure out where he could post a message, when he found it. He would need to download the app. He pulled out his phone and typed it in the app store, searching the name up and seeing the app at the top of the page. Downloading it only took a few seconds, so as he opened the app he began to type up a message.
“Hello. Recently I’ve been on an investigation involving the disappearances of all seniors at Terran High School, in the Star City area of the United Republic of Democracies. As a deputy sheriff this usually isn’t my business to dig around in, but my son was involved in this disappearance and I fear his safety. I myself personally investigated the scene and found a book in the principal’s office titled “Tales of Evolution and Survival”. It was noticeably less dustier than the others. In hopes of getting a lead I searched this book up, and hours upon searching I stumbled upon this website. It doesn’t seem very active, but… if anyone can please point me in the right direction of where this “Tales of Evolution and Survival” story could be found I would be so happy. Please respond soon, my son’s safety is on the line as we speak.”
He wasn’t too sure if he should consider putting a signoff name, but it seemed the formality here. So he decided to just sign off his name. Deputy Warren. He clicked the “Send Message” button, and the screen flashed green. He turned his phone off, placed it on his desk, and stumbled off back to his bedroom, his eyes droopy and his energy low. Time to sleep.
He collapsed onto the bed, readjusting himself until he lay on his back. He turned to the right, where a silver pendant with half a heart attached at the end hung on a stand.
For a moment, everything seemed still. He felt someone comfortingly grab his shoulder, reassuring him that everything will be alright. That they would stick it through till’ death do them part.
“But, that’s probably just my imagination,” Warren thought. He felt a single tear shed from his eye, and he closed his eyes, letting a blissful rest consume his mind.
