Lost hope: chapter 2- cloudy eyes

Shaden: solid black Leona: solid white Solia: red and black

Robin: red and tan. Faya: white and black Eden: black and white

The gentle forest of Frozen tooth wisped a gentle wind through shadens dark feathers. Leona ducked underneath the forest shrubs though her futile attempts to stay hidden failed.

"What are we waiting for?" Robin lept forward rustling the small bushes with her wings in flurry of leaves and feathers. Solia rolled her eyes as Leona pulled the female back by her tail feathers.

"Are you crazy?"

"You can’t just rush out there like that Robin! Your going to get us all killed!" Faya jumped at Robin flashing her wings before quickly dropping her injured one. "Ugh!"

"We don’t know how they will react." Shaden whispered. Robin only glared at each of them in turn. His heart dropped as as an ear piercing screech sounded only a few meters away. Engergy spiked through his veins as he took flight. "Everyone get out of here! Now!" The females stared before Solia grabbed faya by her shoulders steadying her flight.

"Robin let’s go!" Faya squaked clawing the air in her friends direction.

"Go all o-" a forced huff shoved the wind from his body as talons dug into his back and head.

"Shaden." Leona’s voice was barely audible.

"What are doing doing on my territory?" His lungs burned for air as the heavy weight slowly suffocated him. "What are you doing here?" She grabbed his throat by her talons putting her face only a beaks length away.

"We need help." Shaden squinted at the black and white female. Her green eyes reflecting his own topaz. She released him glanced at his flock than glared.

"With what? Why from frozen tooth?"

"The griffons have killed one of us, and we need help to end namir." Robin stepped forward raising her head boldly.

"Why should I risk my family for you lot of dodo brains?"

"How dare you!?" Robin screeched.

"You live near far’s peak, we thought you’re know more about the griffons. Why they went after us."

The female chuffed and rolled her eyes. "Griffons don’t need a reason. They’ve been tormenting the flocks here for centuries."

"And it’s time we stand up for ourselves. Those half blooded things deserve to be slaughtered!" Robin screeched flashing her wings.

A moment of silence passed. "My name is Eden, I can’t guarantee anyones help." She sighed shaking her head. "But your welcome to stay as long as you need. I see you’re friend is injured."
