All this cage building nonsense is unnecessary. Just grab a bow with tranq arrows and run around the bird in tight circles, firing a tranq arrow every 8-10 seconds. Make sure any of your nearby dinos are set to passive. You will probably get hit once or twice. Then at some point the Argy will try to run away, at this point the 8-10 second rule goes out the window, hit it with as many tranq arrows as fast as possible. Make sure its not over water when it drops. I learned that the hard way.
You can insta tame it by making it attack you and it will harvest a body then knock it out when it has the health increase stat (green thing around its head)then once it is knocked out I will tame automatically, HELP THE BOBS
#Toriel. There is a recall button in Mobile, if toriel isnt dead you can teleport her back to your side in about 10 minutes. I know Because I've had to do that with my Eerie Argie several times. She will lose everything in her inventory though. Howevwr you will have toriel back. Hope this helps, Happy Hunting!
An Argentavis is a portable Smithy as well as a transporter. They have many weight reduction bonuses that will help you, should you ever need to move around and require a Smithy or you just need to transport some items.
They can pick up most creatures provided that they are not twice it's size. They are one of the most useful tames of all time. They are not a great creature for speed but they are efficient at transporting.
Taming one will be difficult. Having a Longneck Rifle with a Tranq Darts is best. The kibble is great but Mutton and Prime Meat works best. Be prepared to give it a chase once it runs off after it's Torpo is on above 50%. They tend to fly off very high.
If you plan on giving it a chase, make suee you have a mount that can outrun it first. A Direwolf or any other land mounts that can shoot while mounted is minimum.
The insta tame method doesn't work anymore, I tried may 11th 2020 and I did exactly as said and it didn't work. It was a female lvl 65 and when it was knocked out it stayed asleep. I even waited until it woke up and she wasn't tamed.
