Bring this into the labyrinth cave on Ragnarok. Makes it way easier.

Press R, or the reload button, on PC to stop the Archaeopteryx glide and press it again to regain it. Knowing this, they can be incredibly ly maneuverable in the air.

On PC, you can press R to stop/start gliding while in the air! I noticed people had posted how to do this for console, but bot for PC, so here you go. =]

I’ve found on mobile that when using one, there’s a small glitch were you kinda go upward, otherwise really fun :3

It can be used to get through a tek cave without any other Tames by gliding through the entire cave

If you have these cuties in wander they collect sap from every Joshua (or redwood) tree they visit.

Tame one, throw a transponder on it and put it on wander in the redwoods for easy sap.

Don't take them to swamps or water. They just sit in it.

I live on a tree platform in the redwoods. And when I jumped down I died and I hated making parachutes do I tamed one of these little fellas and I love it

A great cave helper. Just fuel chitin and then u get through chasms easily. (If you need chitin, scorpions are available.)

These guys are useful but I think you should still have a flyer to jelp you

High levels are unless. Tame low levels and you get same effect, just less needed chitin

You can pass tek cave with this little chicken just beware when you press k it stop/starts gliding but it’s NOT abrupt. I fell into a giga mouth before my live parachute can slow me down…

It’s a bird with big strength cuz it carry’s people and most people have a heavy inventory so they are strong as 200 Gigas to be able to Carry big heavy people

Be care when gliding they will drop you out of the blue and you might even get killed

Press x on xbox to toggle the gliding

To anyone from wildcard. The bird isnt the source of the mobile bug. Its the trees themselves. Something about them breaks things. I've had multiple hives stop working. Never had a tap stop however, so my guess would be collision detection. If you have a bird stuck up a tree you can request them and pick up their bag once they land. Fixes* the birds (applying fix loosely)

These guys can eat chitin AND MEAT! Not only that..but they can also be an AMAZING TAME for you can jump off a quetzal platform and click X on Xbox and act as a parachute to glide over those rex’s giga’s and allo’s!

If your a starter dont tame it yet just use parasutes there cheaper and they cant die to dilos hope this helped ;)
