It’s good because when your on mobile and have a tiny screen and you want to check inventory but you accidentally press the Unmount button and you fall off, the archaeopteryx will save you from losing your flying reptile forever

Am I the only one who forgets these are in the game? It would probably be decent if it was a shoulder mount, but in its current state these things are kinda bad. However, it's ARK of all games so do what you want.

Excited me tamed one Archy and then jumped off the clif where three allos were chasing me .... After jumping and gliding for a while.... Death seems to be easier than escaping by gliding an Archy so I returned back to that Clif and died :)
