These are in the redwoods on the ground or in the trees. I recommend looking for them on the tree trunks.

If you want to tame this guy be careful because a microraptor is very similar to this guy.You can tell the difference between their tail, microraptors have a shot tail but this guy has a long and wide tail

These guys are very easy to find if you have high tech stuff, however, I don’t, and it’s a lot of work to get them, but I eventually found some, and I sold one at my shop on a online server.

Mine is level 40 and his name is Archeo. My most leveled up tame🥲. You find them on the redwood trees.

My sister has gotten these conufused with microraptors MANY TIMES!

If you dont want to make this mistake, look at the tail.

Microraptors have thin tails that fluff out into a sort of triangle at the end.

Archaeopteryxes have a fluffy tail all the way.

I found three of these launching themselves high up into the air near the redwoods on the island. They were then circling and trying to attack something that looked like a floating rock but wasn’t a rock. Almost looked like a component from a saddle or something. One of the oddest things I’ve seen a wild Dino do.

These can also be found in the desert region I believe, I encountered only a few there though

I found that if you use a pheromone dart (you need ammonite bile) then it attracts them to the Dino you shoot, but after they kill it they start attacking me, this makes it easy for me to knock them out and tame them

Im prettey sure if you wear chitin then they aggro to you

Every time I tried to pick one up with my pteranodon it would IMMEDIATELY disappear. Someone tell me why ;-;

You can run a dungeon and find these lil bad boys lvl 25+ and the best part of it they glow, last thing it’s only 8 or a little bit more amber to revive it.

I think this is a pretty good tame! They are really fun to use and they are quite cute. They are easy to tame as well. The only con I can think of right now is that it’s kinda hard to get down but overall I would get one if I were you😌

Cannot be carried by a argent they seem to be to small to really be cared and can sometimes be found in trees

When I tried to pick one up from a tree in the redwoods with my pt once I picked one up it literally would disappear immediately afterwards. Someone tell me why :(

gets scared very easily, flys away really fast too, try to sneak up on these or use camo and bola it

If u run into these gyes I would recommend taming them but if u want to kill then just wack them with your axe -Big Bill

Just a quick reminder that if you try to grab them with any fliers, they'll just butter out of their grasp and you won't be able to bring them to a trap then.
