My guess is your to lazy to wait 2 hours to reach the ground.

Just remember that you can make it stop and start making you float again by pressing the Square button on PS4, trust me, I regret not knowing that after I accidentally hopped of my argy while carrying my archa. I was in the air for almost an hour, at least I could just enjoy the view on my way down.

Tamed her when I was looking for a decent Thyla and thought she was a Microraptor. MUCH better.
