Lesser known fact for mobile. On top of being invisible to wild cave creatures if you’re riding this cave tame, you can even attack using the secondary web attack AND REMAIN INVISIBLE! The web attack does not draw aggro on mobile. Not tested on PC

Don't underestimate this creature in PvP. A webbed player is effectively blind. You can also use the webs for taming, similarly to the moth in Scorched Earth, by shooting webs onto a Dino and blasting them with tranq arrows and darts before they can run away/fight back.

Since TLC 3 , this creature is breedable. You cannot pick up it's fertilized eggs , so make sure you have a proper breeding area.

A pro tip that I came up with is that If you are being raided and you have turret then and have these guys then slow them down then the turret will be able to get more hits.

Pls pls pls, Ark make it has the full climb ability, shooting webs and climbing on them, or spiderman things

In mobile wersion it can go to every cave and don't lose any HP, because cave creatures aren't attack it. I don't know is it a bug or a new thing for mobile.

Use for The cave of the immune,it fits and it can squeeze through the mass amounts of arachnids and scorpions

Upgrade speed and a bit of Stamina

They web meks. It’s the meks only weakness.

Just so you know when a creature gets knocked out in a cave it doesn't wake up after the torpor's down after just like 60 seconds it will just die

ARK! I hope ark devs see this. Anyway to the point. Araneos need to take bubbles of air down with them when they go underwater! In real life spiders will carry air bubbles down with them on their tiny hairs on their body. This way they can breathe up to four hours. Depending on body size in air amounts. Anyway do you think we could see some of the bubbles and as a rider breathe from them too? I’d like this as a realistic update and not for fun. You wonder why that one spider never dies when you try to drown it in the toilet? It’s a fish. A fishspider. A hairy brown fanged fish. Vote up so devs see this and we get us some fishspiders! I’m posting a neat feature on every creature in ark.

The spider if tamed in a cave will not be agroed by cave creatures if you want to just hit the drops

Kinda wish these guys had a turret mode for the webs. Prettyuch be free plants you don't have to fertilize. To compensate though I just tamed a few high level dimorphodons to follow it, waited it down with stone so it couldn't move, and set it on aggressive with the highest radius. Set dimorphodons on attack my target and boom. Free turret.

Take a bunch of these guys and put them all around your base, make sure they encumbered and put them on aggression. They’ll web up any intruder that comes near your base.

Everything ignores you on mobile

imo they are the most useful cave tames in mobile. can go through the smallest of gaps, does torpor, they have invisibility (if you taned in a cave though) and the webs work very well in PvP especially in raids.

After tamed, when you leave with it no dino going to atack her sooo, I think that we can explore universe without be attacked. That's because I lov them <3

Not exactly the best combat mount, slow, stamina isn't the best, a little squishy. But a few high levels of these on base defence are pretty good. Put a few in the inner parts of your base (along with the centipedes to wreck enemies armour) and the will have your enemies tangled up in seconds!

Could be a glitch, but while riding on one in the caves on the center map enemies ignored me like i had bug repellant on. Left caves and came back same thing.

I feel like they should fully climb walls like megalania, shoot webs that can trap players and insects for 10 seconds and they should be able to make a web sleeping bag in case u want to sleep and u don’t have a sleeping bag or bed.
