Despite what the community crunch said, kibble doesn't work so stick to spoiled meat

So this is the best mount for swamp cave if you want to tame one first make bug repelant wear full jellysuit go to hunters cave find one the level you like sneak near it dont get realy near or it will attack you feed it spoild meat use balm if needed then boom you have an araneo any bugs wont attack them so they good at caves and they the best if you go swamp cave just dont tame one outside the cave or ressurected one cause if you tamed them outside bugs will start attacking make it passive if you want to spam cave so even if you get killed it wont attack and it will be safe up this if helpfull i am playing on mobile my ign are external'mochops and dora i am sharing tips for taming and i also share some funny storys

Easiest way to taming a araneo is to go to the northwest cave go inside one of the wholes after kill all the threats around and leaving the one you want alive after that jump up to feed it rotten meat (300) get at least 5 grappling hooks to get out the whole than run for the entrance and your araneo will tp outside

If yer playing of single player and want to escape these bugs just at the first sight of bug bat or snake, just refresh your ark

Where do I find these?

I recommend getting rapters and tons of stim berrys for caves and then easy destruction

Good for caves bc it gets ignored and fits in lots of caves (FOR MOBILE)

If you tame it inside a cave (warning this will not work if you revive and tame or chronicle it!!!!) agressive creatures will not attack you even if you just walk right up to them BUT if you shoot another cave creature from thezt back of your araneo they WILL attack you

I was riding my araneo and i bit another araneo and it ignored me. Then without dismounting i shot at it and it realized i was there even if i was on the back of my own araneo. Same works for the other cave creatures as long as theyre tamed in the cave. Hope this helped

Overall just a bad designed creature.

Maybe, the devs could add the ability to set up some sort of trap by making a spider web between two trees or something and you could check it once in a while and see if anything ran in.

Also, they should be able to climb walls and ceilings like the Megalania as they are spiders.

Tip go in cave, punch as many as you can, run to arachnaphobic friend, RUN

You cannot tame these at the castle in Ragnarok, duno why, they are also at level 500.

Don't lure one or ressurrect it outside of their caves. They're much more hostile that way deeming it untamable

Use camo armor and bug repelanta to tame

A good bow will take these out before you go into the cave upgrade your speed

Kill everything else in the cave but the one you want with a giga. Then approach with ghili and bug repellent on FROM THE SIDE. He will not see you and you can tame at leisure. You can stay crouched next to him.
