How to get a lot of metal with ankys.

1. Early game tame multiple. One pumped in melee and others in weight. Go to a mountain and collect with melee anky and put in weight ankys. Easy metal.

2. Mid game tame a paracer and place ramps to its back and fill the rest with ceilings. Cover the back end with walls and place ankys on the paracer. More ankys at a time and faster and you can encumber them for moar metal. Keep an argy to pick up fallen ankys.

3. Quetzal and anky. Needs 2 people but oh well. Place ramps on quetzal and have the anky pumpe melee only. The driver will hold down attack button. Quetzal will "scoop" anky with ramp and guide to metal. Repeat until anky don't harvest metal.

Great for metao on abberation and valguero with a karkinos since they have a high carry weight and can attack while grabbed

Make sure you tame high level ank for collecting metal

and make sure you have argent so if you want to collect

metals try to carry this ank and drop it in too more metal then begin collecting them if ank are more metal try to lift it up by argent thats a tip....

If you're raiding a base and the have metal or stone walls, take one of these big, spiky, tanks with a wrecking ball for a tail and break the walls to allow any clan mates to storm the enemy base. Ho-ho-ho it's always a surprise when you do it in the dead of night.

On mobile, they are worst than an ascendant mtl pick at gathering mtl. Tip for you pc players coming to mobile ;)

Argentavis can now pick Anky up. Makes for a great metal, obisidian and crystal gathering pair since argy reduces weight by ½.

If you want metal at an early stage this Dino is the way to go

If on abberation i suggest pumping weight for starter anky.

Pair it up with a high lvl argent and your good to go.

If you use an Anky paired with an Aberation crab holding it you and a buddy can get ridiculous amounts of metal. From what I can tell it is the new fastest way to get metal in my opinion.

Great for harvesting oil in the arctic

If you want to make a lot of ammo fast, you can't beat an anky.

Granted, you need to get your charcoal from a different source, but you'll be swimming in sparkpowder and metal in no time with it.

You can use an argy to pick it up when its inventory gets too heavy for it to walk then drop it on top of a metal rock and it will automatically harvest it then you can pick the anky up again and drop it on the next metal rock

Also make sure to drop stone every time you harvest something because it can add up quickly and encumber your anky in less than a minute.

Where are anky I need metal for base

For maximum efficiency tame an Argentavis pump melee into the anky then fly to metal nodes and your anky will get good amounts of metal

You should actually use this mount to gather rockarrots,since ark mobile cannot determine the location of the nearest mammal on a mount, it’s one of the most efficient ways to obtain these.
