Taming this creature is very easy find the point where i cant co up anymore and stay above this and fire away

- Have the angler follow you in to an underwater cave. Hop off your mount and use tranq darts/arrows to know out

- build under water taming pen (Stone foundations/stone doorframes for walls/ stone ceilings) bring extra stone doorframe to close the walls behind you when the angler goes in to the 2x2 foundations/doorframes/ceilings

The amount of arrows needed to knock out is way more than stated so be ready, and so are narcotics....10/10 dodedex.

When taming with a crossbow shoot it rapidly if u don't u will kill it they are not goin to kill u they will hit u an run

It was useless until patch 257 after this patch it farm silica pearls. so tame them and breed them for a good melee damage and go to deep see for silic farm ??

The angler ? can gather loads of silika pearls ? in under water ? locations.

Tame one kill some and tame a manta with their gel!!!!!!!!

Not that hard to kill as long as you have flippers you can out swim it

On the ark there ate a lot of spawns at the bottom of the ocean In the north zone near the dead island where the raptors and Rexs spawn

When knocking out an angler you absolutely must use a primitive crossbow and be very patient. Most of the time knocking them out will get its health very low and a a tranq arrow from a much stronger crossbow might kill it on the last hit

Go to yeti cave look for a angler as high lvl as u want and kill it

Take implant

Place revival platform under water

Revive angler

Knock out feed balm and meat

Wait

Wait

Now u have a angler w 1000 weight at least 5000 hp 2000 stam at least 800 dmg

Its easier then it sounds
