You can tame them in the bubbles on Eldritch Isle in Crystal Isles. Use Tranq Darts from outside. Feed them regular kibble but keep plenty of narcotic on hand.

You need more harpoon tranqs than what dododex said. On official, i had to use 60 harpoon tranqs, and dex said it would need 30..

The amount of arrows needed to knock out is way more than stated so be ready, and so are narcotics....10/10 dodedex.

When taming with a crossbow shoot it rapidly if u don't u will kill it they are not goin to kill u they will hit u an run

Go to yeti cave look for a angler as high lvl as u want and kill it

Take implant

Place revival platform under water

Revive angler

Knock out feed balm and meat

Now u have a angler w 1000 weight at least 5000 hp 2000 stam at least 800 dmg
